My favorite day in swimming was the workout where I truly got the 2nd kick in fly. I had put in the work, and now, it was time that I made the jump and kick into real fly, where you realize how it's as much a kick stroke as an arm stroke. I ask other swimmers is they remember that day too and they usually agree they do. Today, I'm back in the water for therapy, but ... no more butterfly for me. Enjoy that flying feeling while you can.
