My husband was diagnosed 12/14/2020 with Stage 4 melanoma, Braf negative, 8 brain lesions, multiple nodules in lungs, lesion in liver, and large lesion in gluteus muscle. Main symptom was slurred speech. Treated at Massachusetts General Hospital with ipilumab and nivolumab. Saw positive results immediately. Currently off treatment, getting scans and bloodwork every 3 months.

I was just diagnosed with melanoma. I’ve had several mohs in the past 7 years. I am seeing an oncologist surgeon Tuesday. I’m scared it comes in waves. I’m 62. God bless you all.

Gayle fear always comes in waves and it's awful. Mines was with a mole on my back. It then metastisied itself to my lymph nodes. I was diagnosed in 2019 and had my biopsy and it was a stage 2. I wasn't given any medication for it. But I was at my three monthly check up and my Cancer Nurse found a lump under my left arm. Given an CT Scan then an MRI I was scheduled for my operation of my lymph nodes. He removed 13 and 9 were positive. This was September 2020. I was then sent to the Beatsoncology Glasgow. I was put on Trametinib combination therapy for Braf Mutation. The first week I thought I was sailing through it. The second week I was so ill. Projectile Vomit etc. At my last Scan last November I was told I was in remission. I am due my next scan shortly but Covid is making all Hospitals are back logged. I know me telling you not to worry isn't going to help you. But you are in my thoughts. With love. 💗🕊💗

Hang in there, Gayle. I am on month 9 of hopefully 1 yr treatment (keytruda and recently T-vec/talimagene as well). melanoma in lungs and groin are gone added t-vec for the neck lymph nodes that keytruda not working well on.....and just last wk the neck lymph nodes are starting to reduce in size

I was diagnosed with toe melanoma months ago however, I was at stage 0. The Mohs was surgery was successful. The doc said it was a 99.99% chance that it would never return. Blessings to Everyone!!!

Today I was diagnosed with a large mass in my right eye. It is melanoma. I will have to have more testing in a few days to see if it has spread. I have been followed for squamous cell cancer and have had MOHS surgeries, besides topical chemo for precancerous areas for my legs, chest, arms and face.

It is hard to recomend any treatment for your son's case, but in my case I was diagnosed with melanoma (BRAF mutation) stage 3 and I followed the Drs advice to be treated with Immunotherapy (Medical Trial), But unfortunately or fortunately it didn't work and it metastasized in my kidneys, lungs and pelvis. Obviously after that, I decided to go with alternative medicine and within 5 weeks the tumors started to reduce as well their metabolic activity. It is a very complex treatment, intermiten fasting, ozono therapy, high dose of vitamin c, keto diet etc... There is a center in AZ and they do a very similar treatment but it is more integrative with conventional medicine," Brio Medical." My big advice do your research first before making any decision, I do regret exposing my body to all the chemicals in the trial, it damaged my thyroid and I am pretty sure it help to deteriorate my inmune system allowing the melanoma to spread faster.

@@zecamanuel2791 what is the name of the center in Arizona? my 43 year old son was just diagnosed with sinus mucosal melanoma. It was found early and hasn't spread yet. He's getting immuno therapy right now and another surgery in a week. But we're open to alternative medicines.

My son has his biopsy on March 21 2023, He had melanoma on his left temple he died March 21, 2024 The immunotherapy and surgery didn't save him
