Everything that is reported ain't true... All I can do is bring accurate information. If there was a way the biological mother could get her child back, I would be the first to say so. But whether the judge was member of the Potter's House Church or not, it would have (absolutely no) effect on this case. It is not illegal in any way for a judge to attend a church where a party to the case is related to the Pastor of the church.

Thank you for covering… i know I’ve commented asking to cover several times. But I think a lot of things were missed. We know that he was legally adopted but many steps that you spoke of were missed making it illegal legal. Writing letter to the courts to say she didn’t want to give up her rights, Cora not submitting medical records per request, she didn’t have legal representation (nor was any appointed) etc. The issue of the Judge presiding over the case was more of conflict of interest due to personal/professional gain…. No one thinks the Jakes invaded her home personally…. It’s people who work for the Jakes/those who do the dirty work… there’s motive!!! They want her to shut up and not expose the things that has happened behind the scenes.

I say all of this with love and respect: Because you are bought into this, there is nothing I can say. But attorneys who know the law know that there is no case here. None of the things you have stated are (legally) dispositve of anything and they mean (nothing) as it relates to the legal disposition of case. It would not be Cora's job to submit anything in case that Michelle herself is a party to when she could have submitted it herself. All I can do is lay the facts on the table. There is no conflict of interest here. But even if there was a conflict, as I have tried to inform you, that issue (by law in the State of Texas) is within the perview of the presiding judge of the court. The time to bring that issue and raise it on appeal, has long past. No one is telling this poor woman (with whom we all sympathize with greatly) not to speak but she relinquished her own parental rights and there is (no) coming back from that. 🙏🏽

I’m trying to understand why the kids are still in her hands? They should be taking from Cora until further positive news. How the kids under her roof and she doesn’t know what’s going on? Yes you are right - the father would have been the key when she had a chance to raise that with the court. But as I informed you, she agreed to terminate her parental rights and she allowed the court to go through the process of terminating the unknown father's parental rights as well. The time for appeal has expired and none of this can be un-done at this point. I don't think Cora Jakes is any more fit than this woman, but because of how this happened, it is legally a done deal at this point.

The worst thing any woman can do is to allow a barren woman to get close to her child. I‘ve witness this situation before where this barren woman was keeping all of her receipts where she was buying this and that. How long she had been with the child without seeing the biological mother. The mother, totally trusted this woman with her child and in the end, this barren woman was able to keep the child because the mother could not fill the bills for the receipts. She did not have the money. So then, she had to let her son stay with the Barren woman.

Ma'am I am just telling you that she had numerous opportunities to tell the judge that she did not want to relinquish her parental rights - she is telling you in her own words that she went to court and had an opportunity to communicate with the judge. She also admits that she signed the papers agreeing to relinquish her own parental rights. At anytime before the judge signed the final judgment she had every opportunity to say no I do not want to do this but she did not. Do I think Cora is more fit to have the child? No I do not. I am just telling you how adoption proceedings are conducted. Once the parental rights are terminated, there is no way to undo that at this point after the time to appeal has past. I pray for everyone involved especially the poor child in the middle of this mess. 🙏🏽

I never stated anywhere in the episode that "the Jakes didn't cross all their t's". All of the t's are crossed by the judge at the conclusion of the adoption prove up hearing when Michelle Loud would have had to agree to relinquish her parental rights. Otherwise, there would be no adoption at all. It is not a conflict of interest in Texas for a judge to be a member of a church where a party in a case is a member or where the case party's father is the pastor of the church. Otherwise judges would be conflicted out of most of their cases. So whether they are friends or not, it is not a conflict. I'm just telling you what's real in real life. And unless Michelle Loud allows us to see the paper that she now claims was stolen, none of use will see anything regarding the adoption because all adoptions in Texas are sealed by law.

@@jeejee777 There is no such thing as an (illegal) adoption in Texas because of the way that all adoptions are completed throughout the (legal) process that is expressly ordered by and completed in a legal court of law. As I stated, there are at least 4 lawayers on the case to check the judge and the judge to check all of the lawyers in addition to the social workers and psychologists. I went thru the whole process to explain that there is no eventuality of what you all are being told, could happen. As zealous and astute as a lawyer could be, there is nothing they could do because a final adoption judgment has been entered and the time to appeal has passed.

I agree that this case should have lawyers falling all over themselves trying to help Michelle Loud. Michelle claims she has a case with receipts. But we’ve been led to believe it’s the Jake’s money stopping her getting help. Also it’s been said Cora couldn’t adopt due to her mental status. And that’s the reason Michelle feels gives her a leg to stand on. Accordingly it’s been alleged that the lawyers helping to get Jason for Cora were Potter House members as well. Michelle says she repeatedly said no to giving up her baby and was threaten and manipulated. Perhaps many want to believe Michelle due to the sensitive nature and her seemingly sincere testimony about how her son ended up with Cora Jake’s. I’m honestly one of those believing in her story. Based on the alleged info from the break in, I’d ask whom else would benefit from what was allegedly stolen or attempted to be stolen but the Jake’s. Since the father of Jason didn’t sign the adoption paperwork isn’t that a way to disallow the adoption? The paperwork for Brandon once he plead guilty and took a deal and signed, supposedly it was said that there was no more he could do, and no chance he could start to rebuttal the case. But it’s alleged that’s not true, hence he’s now trying to start his defense case. I’m sad to hear that you’re saying Michelle can’t get her son back. I do hope that’s not true and there’s a chance. You don't need money to obtain a contingency fee attorney. If she had a case, the Jakes' money would be the reason that any lawyer would take the case on a contingency fee basis if there was any such fraud involved. But as I have stated, she has (no) legal pathway.

Michelle did not make anything up. Her interviews have not been a waste of time. If that was the case, I wouldn’t have known about her. Most people are looking at this with tunnel vision.
