Thats IT! That's been bugging me for ages - It's the way the wheels sit so close to the edge of the body, and even the rear light clusters are rover 75 inspired - all it needs now is a rover 75 rear shaped number plate!

You're right. The Rover 75 didn't immediately come to mind, because there are so few of them around now (at least, here in Australia). I quite like the look of the Rover, but there's something off-putting about the rear of the Maybach - maybe it's the tail lights and the light bar or whatever it's called. That whole assembly just looks cheap to me, and not befitting of an ultra-luxury car.

That Maybach deserves saving for sure, but I hope the folks a Maaco exceed the common expectation. It's not that hard to lay down a nice paint job, especially if it is cut and buffed. However, it's the little things, like proper masking where they tend to fall short of the mark. Maaco, please step up your game for this car and make sure there's no overspray anywhere.
