Some tips cause I love playing as a vet, store owner or restaurant owner: - make a "house" inside a room, with all the essentials a sim need to live and LOCK the door so only you can have access. Otherwise the workers will keep procrastinating and not working.... - put the prices all the way up, really create an extortion dinner - as soon as possible buy the store things that give you bonus like the simoleon neon light, or the signs that attract more clients....

I always had a decent day if my owner sim was at the restaurant, but any time I had the restaurant open while the owner was not there, it would lose money like crazy. No idea what causes this to happen. I wonder if they've fixed it since then. That was like a year ago, or more.
