In my opinion girls get held to an unfair higher standard because guys will automatically assume that any semblance of popularity they have it's because of their attractiveness and not their talents. Some of the greatest bass players in history and some of the greatest basslines recorded are regarded as being so great due to their Simplicity yet ability to drive the song and remain in pocket, reinforcing the low end of the melodic section while locking in with the Rhythm Section. But if any female musician tried playing with any level of Simplicity then everyone hops on them saying that they're not good and that they're only famous because of their tits

Some immature nitwits can't stand that a person can be ... 1. Young 2. Talented 3. Gorgeous ... all at the same time. These combining phenomena constitute a mortal threat to the fragile egos of some pathetic inadequates, who then resort to predictable, sexist abuse. Oh, did I mention that Ale also happens to be ... 4. Female? Good luck incels.

Ale is laser focused, she’s a perfectionist. You just have to watch videos of her when she was 8,9,10 also watch the TEDx talks at the university of Nevada of 2015 and 2016 when she was barely 11 and 12 It is impressive to watch, how articulate she was on her talks and of course her performance, playing piano, bass and singing. Alejandra is the real deal! The Warning practice every day and work very hard and are involved in every part of their musical process.

She's been playing the bass since like age nine. She's the real deal, and yes she's attractive, but if you watch their live sessions, go to a show, or even just listen to their music, you can hear how talented she is. People put her down out of jealousy, and I think that says more about them than her. I like her and The Warning, and it makes me sad to see people question her talent. She's the real deal.

Alejandra Villarreal is an incredible bassist who is grossly underrated for her talent and has incredible stage presence. And, yes, she’s drop dead gorgeous. But, she’s an even better musician. She’s only 19 and has been playing at a high level for 10 years. Give this girl some credit and show a little respect for the Queen. 🤘
@uthinkurgroovy27 ай бұрын
She clearly knows how to play bass and The Warning have really good songs. Her playing serves the song. She's giving the songs the bottom end that they deserve and she's holding down the groove along with the drummer. The other part of this is that she's an Entertainer and of course she's going to look pretty and have moves on stage that are probably practiced and planned out along with the facial expressions and the hair flips, etc. but that's part of entertaining the audience and giving them a good visual show. Being visual and giving the audience something exciting to look at is part of the show as well. Would you be interested in watching any band if all they did was stand in one place all night and stare at their shoes?

I've seen this girl at a very young age pick up the bass and over the years play in the band with her sisters. Since about 2013 she has gotten better and better. It wasn't long ago that she finally started to come out of her shell on stage and coming into her own style and stage presence. So yes she can definitely play bass, sing and play piano as well.

If a musician is playing the role of their instrument withtin the song than they are a good musician at their instrument If a bassist only plays roots they can play bass because they are putting in the much needed low end into the mix (without it being too muddy and cluttered) If a guitarist is only playing power chords they can play guitar because they are filling out the mids and keeping the underlining chord progression going If a keyboardist is only playing simple melodies they can play keyboard as long as they are in time and stay in the high mids and treble (same with vocals). Your a good musician if you know your place in the band

To anyone who didn't know, her and sisters in The Warning are childhood music prodigies. She is wicked talented at playing, an amazing singer, writes all her amazing lines and is so fierce on stage. I love Alé. And to add to it, she has amazing gear, is stupidly smart, and has the Sweetest personality. So I'm not being biased in the slightest just cuz I love Latinas and Hispanic culture.
