So what's the point of taking the venom of the snake during a TV set,some people just talk smart and can't simple act it out.....

I dont think that it has no point or instills false confidence at all. It is an excellent, realtime visual of the starting process of that eventually leads to potentially groundbreaking research.

I think you are missing the point. The demonstration clearly shows how difficult and dangerous the process is (just look at the safety equipment used) and how little venom is extracted, thus such an expensive commodity. She just covered one area of research and did not touch on the use in anti-venom production. I wish they had more time to discuss it so you would see when someone is bitten by a venomous snake, the hospital bill may end up to be 100K+

@Herbal Shaman I do not know how one can get a sense of confidence that the process is easy; leg protection, tongs, and a master snake handler with all professional precautions. When I see that, I realize that, that is not what I am going to do, period... no false confidence for me
