This 1st kid is an actor. If he had been bullied as long as he has and had been recently bullied within his age, his typical behaviour would be rather shy and not as confident in front on the camera like this. Now he may be speaking the words of an actual abused kid at the age he is portraying, but this particularly "kid" has NOT been bullied , rather, he is acting out a typical kid who has been bullied. The typical bullied child would not have this kind of self-esteem in the course of even a year to how he has claimed to have been bullied for so long. The effects of having been bullied are clearly devastating at his age and it would genuinely have taken at least a good 5 years before any teen ager gets to this point of strong self-esteem. Dylan Klebold and pal were not even THIS confident nor were even approachable by the time that they had reached the age when they shot up their fellow school mates. What this program SHOULD do is to speak to kids who have been actually bullied and to get them the REAL help that they deserve and I KNOW this because I have seen it and lived it and I know fellow students at that age who have not "gotten over it" even a year or even after they were removed from the situation. They do remain shy and very remote for quite awhile into their early adult hood AFTER college but not while they were in this teenage phase. This kid is an actor, as many times as this kid has been insulted deeply , it would have taken time for him to even speak publicly about it and the typical bullied child will still have a some what shy temperament, but not as this actor is portraying. If this is not presented honestly, how will children who are truly bullied going to stand up. They will compare themselves with this actor and think that something is wrong with them. SO they need to show and interview actual bullied kids.

The one thing to remember is that bullies do not get far in life at all.

All of this just makes me want to home school my kids when I eventually have them, and if they wanted to go to school at any point then that would be their choice.. but then I'm stuck with the idea that what doesn't kill you WILL make you stronger.. school kids took a good few emotional whacks at me when I was a kid, but I do feel stronger today because of it. The system well and truely fails when it comes to bullying, and I can't see it ever being resolved - only much much worse.

Billy situations sounds a bit like me. Im really paranoid around my aage group because of verbal bullying and that makes me furious which i tend to take it out on the one closets to me -_-. I hate bullies. I did stand up for myself but the more i did, the more people started to bully me and support the bully. so i gave up hoping one day it would end and now i suffer with shyness and anger

I understand, I personally never got psychically bullied mainly because I was bigger than anyone of the bullies, but I did get emotionally or mentally how ever you want to call it bullied and I can say from experience that hearth has much if not more then any physical bit down by anyone. The fact is people are f ass holes and it takes fighting back to get them to stop, all the fight I got in high school where always about people that sed something about me and the way I got them to shut up was

if you are shy you get laughed at and called weird, which makes you even more paranoid and shy and nervous and it gets worse. Even if people aren't coming up to you and insulting you, they still take the piss out of you just not to your face. I don't get why shyness is something to make fun of though. If i see a shy person i try to make them feel comfortable and get them out of their shell, not completely fuck up their confidence worse than it is.

I know how it feels to be bullied. In fact, I still get bullied today. I'm only 14 and a half year old, well mannered, nice kid who has lots of friends, yet I still get bullied by this one kid. This kid peer presures me into doing things that get me in trouble, calls me names like fuck face and pussy, and always says really mean things to me and does stuff to me like pushing me and making fun of me just to get a reaction out of me. But thankfully, my friends are helping me solve this issue. :)

@twadorno666 I've been shot at,I've been beated up and things far worse. And I held myself together,I went through hell and managed to get back with only my strength and a friend's help. So yes - I do get it as much as I want not to , but at the same time yes - I do think those people find excuses..

LOL! When I was older, and learned when some dumbass would come up to me and say "So-n-so likes you" that they were just doing it to try and be "cute", I figured out a way to counter-combat that. When ever someone I didn't know would say that to me, especially if I looked and saw all their dumb friends laughing, I always called that person a liar, or I just flat-out told them "I don't believe you!" and walk on. :)

@jaboogie82 I totally agree with you. One person with some common sense around here. What do you mean 'red baloon' .. and what would happen to these ppl later on when they have a job and need to be competitive..Some kinda other coloured baloon? And then when they have a family and spouse trouble? Again seek help.. That's just stupid. Everyone should learn how to cope in this world

@jaboogie82 - Do you really think that was all of it? This is television, we only see what we're told. I know those kids personally and let me tell you, that bit was only the stuff they could stand to talk about whilst filmed. It was much, much worse than a few names. Kayleigh

Only 5 GCSEs is the bare minimum expected, most students at regular schools do 10 but its probably more resources than anything. Honestly the only real subjects you need is maths and english language/literature at GCSE anyway but the government demands you do at least 5 :P

them either and that alone make me a bully, but if you are reading this you should have realize that I sed only high school or middle school in college non of that happens the anonymity of college makes that all go away and if anything does happens you only have to tell some college or liberal group about it and they will make that person really pay for what ever they did and beyond college event better...
