I went to Author Nation in 2018 when it was still 20Books and it was such an awesome experience. I'll be going in 2026 rather than 2025 because my sister's getting married the same week in 2025. I'm so glad it's just as amazing and that you're having a blast.

Also, thanks for being a real one and letting us know the real important info--as soon as I saw that pen, I wanted to know where you got it because I wanted to go throw it in my cart. 🤣Sadly, I won't be able to get it. I went to a non-author conference once and they only had ugly orange Google pens. I kept it because it writes really well, so I keep it in my bag for when I need a pen in public and I won't care if I lose it. Lol. And congrats on your words. I finally got over 10,000 the other night. I got in some more earlier. I'm going to try to write some more and get to at least 11,000 or close to it. Thanks for the conference updates!

Listen. You are a great teacher. A great speaker and a great person. Even though I haven't met you in person but I just know you are a great person. So please never think that nobody will show up for you course or workshop or any even of yours. I know this is not an easy thing to get that fear out but please, if the fear is taking up 95% of your conscious, then have a faith in that 5%.

I really enjoy these Vegas videos. Right now, I think it's too early for me to think about publishing, no reason to cause myself more anxiety and stress than it's necessary, when I still need to actually finish writing something. But it's been my dream for so long, that I'm determined to do it one day, so I'm glad I found this channel.

This sounds like such an amazing conference. I may have to look at flying over next year to attend. I often don't go to ones further afield as its a huge outlay for something which is usually has a very specific subject whereas this seems to have a bit of all things.

Huge F1 fan! In fact, I watched this video on Saturday, race day - race night. The vast majority of F1 drivers come from Big money. It’s an incredibly difficult sport to break into - most of these drivers started in go carting when they were 10yo. If you want to feel inspired, learn about Sir Lewis Hamilton’s story. No money, divorced parents, two sisters and his brother with CP, and the only Black driver to race in Formula 1 history. I believe he holds all of the records in F1 right now. He’s Exec Prod an F1 film w Apple starring Brad Pitt right now. He supports many Black fashion designers as well as women drivers and human rights globally. His dog’s name is Roscoe who has over a million IG followers. 😅 Next year, he moves to Ferrari, where he will be teammates with Charles LeClerc!

I love F1 so much I started writing a romance series in that world (The Smith Racing Series) 😂 Highly recommend watching a race! Maybe not Vegas because it's the middle of the night in the states but you can find most of them on ESPN on the regular
