I think Takaba's point is, in fact, getting thr domain expansion out of the game. I mean, Gojo and Sukuna are an exception in terms of spamming their domains. Maybe the gang has already experimented with Takaba cursed technique enough to know if it can or cannot recover afterwards. Taking your invincible dude and use it to put the strongest card of the enemy on cooldown sounds like an amazing plan to me. We have already seen that Kenjaku had issues dealing with the physical attacks of Yuki Pre domain... if I were the gang, I'll put the DE on cooldown and then jump him. This is Jumpjutsu Kaisen after all.

The main problem with Takaba's CT is that if things get dire, it automatically deactivates, as Takaba can no longer think of funny stuff. If Takaba suffers actual damage, or if someone dies or gets gravely injured close to him, he might just get shocked and unable to continue with the funni ...unless Takaba is a confirmed psychopath and just dives deeper into battle frenzy when hurt.

I think the scariest possibility might be kenjaku taking takaba's body. Kenjaku has a sense of humor, but he's twisted in a way that takaba just isn't. Kenjaku would be able to do a lot of things with Comedian that takaba simply can't because of his sense of humor. He may even get to keep Geto's cursed technique as well as the curse stockpile considering he still has anti-gravity.

Domains do not negate cursed technique, they remove techniques that are in the way so for instance with Gojo: attacks would bypass infinity but he can still use red

The effects of a domain are a sure hit. They ignore accuracy and evasion but I dont think they ignore damage reduction. Sukuna atomized Shibuya but Gojo tanked the domain. He oviously healed through it but he probably used CE to buff his defense. Takaba will be hit by any attack in a DE but, just like in this chapter, he would still take no damage if he found it funny.

While every attack is guaranteed to hit you, it is in no way guaranteed to damage with a 100% potency, or even at all for that matter. Gojo was able to just destroy Jogo's attacks, falling blossom emotion is specially design to counter a sure hit attack and Dagon's Shikigami were still manageable if hit before they have the time to do any serious damage. It might depend on the nature of the attack, maybe only purely physical attacks an actually be countered and not metaphysical effects (be it rules engraved into the domain, or even stuff like the infinite info dump of unlimited void as it is just stimuli without without any tangible form to defend against).

Probably worth noting that when Fushiguro was trying to figure out Jiro's Inverse technique, he disqualified the possibility of damage negation simply on the grounds that Jiro didn't want to fight Gojo. Raw damage negation is just immediately Gojo-level.

It's not that domains prevent people from using techniques, it's that the guaranteed hit is unaffected by the technique (hence why it's guaranteed). Something like Gojo's limitless wouldn't matter with a sure-hit since it would hit regardless, but he could still use the technique within the domain. Maki showed this when she was hit with Dagon's domain attacks, the way she put it was that the attacks didn't exist until they hit her, which wouldn't really help Kenjaku in this case unless his domain has a specific effect that we haven't seen. or... Takaba would find it funny to expand his own domain to just beat Kenjaku's (would be pretty funny if he, for the first time using a domain, just absolutely trumps Kenjaku's ultimate move) and this wouldn't matter.

The crazy thing about Takaba right now, is that he could be practically invincible. Because the more he does, the funnier it would be that Takaba continues to win. If this idea extends to Takaba himself, the more he is amused by his own power and accomplishments, the stronger he becomes. We all know how it’s gonna go down… Kenjaku is gonna open his domain expansion and then Takaba is gonna die. And then laughing and clapping is gonna be heard from every direction as the world becomes a stage and he gets back up saying “It sounds like they would like to keep going!” as he accidentally opens up his domain expansion - Takaba’s All Night Comedy Special. Takaba is gonna die. It will probably be a wild fight before its over but Kenjaku is a bad match for him because he's smart enough to adapt on the fly. This fight is on a timer and I think Kenjaku is going to figure out Takaba's abilities and find a weakness before Takaba figures out how to make the best use of his power. In the last chapter Kenjaku said Takaba's power is based on his self confidence, which is true. He's already adapting to Takaba. None the less I'm sure its gonna be a funny fight.
