Can The Suhr Alt T Really Replace My Gibson 335?!?

Both very much similar on clean, only on the bridge coil (dirty) which was noticeable with the 335 taking first place. 👌

The Telecaster is, as expected brighter than the ES. It is not just the pickups, it is the wood and the larger neck scale. Also the ES has more soundchamber. The Tele sounds tighter, esp. In distorted mode. I’d not get rid of the ES if I were you, keep ‘m both!

Overall, Suhr for me. Bridge dirty...maybe the 335.

No, they don't sound alike. They are definitely two different sounding guitars.
