I did this in New Zealand with my SV650 and would not recommend. Managed to cause a lot of dings and dents to my radiator due to loose stones and stuff being thrown up.😢

That thing prolly isnt much less offroady then 1st gen cb500x and people consider that normal on these easy trails. Judging by your count of 😂 and 😅 it did just fine.

I take my MT-09 on a good bit of gravel. Pretty stable given the low center of gravity compared to ADV/enduros. Handles it surprisingly well except for potholes. Glad to see you doing the same!

Nice one, now a question that fits this film: your pick sv650 or RE scram? I am doubting between SV and Himalayan to replace my 1994 xj600. Why the RE: 30km per liter and E5 emissions label. Why the SV: I place that in the same ballpark as my xj but is E4. Will I miss the "power" on the RE or what will fuel costs do compared to riding in ULEZ in the future. I commute 5km in good weather, do a small ride of max two hours on a Sunday If I find time and sometimes find myself having to cross a green lane or take a detour. I do not consider myself a die-hard biker offroader or worldtourer. I just get out on the backroads and an occasional busy highway to have some fun and get away from yelling kids and a wife with a broomstick. I am looking at young used and know about the new himalayan450, but that's not in my wallet (and prefer the looks of the 411 model)

Easy off-road on anything. I did a more demending off-road on my Yamaha MT-01 a few years ago. But only once, and it was because I ran out of road. 1990
