Hi Jed, Mike, and Anna! You know that on a cool day, without a closed hood in an engine compartment, and no thermostat, it probably won't get up to temp. In a car on a hot day, with no stat, it might overheat, because the coolant hasn't sufficient time in the radiator to reject the heat. Thermostats are a critical part of a cooling system... but you know that. Thanks again for the shout-out to my channel. I apologize to my viewers that I haven't put anymore videos out. I have to buy a new computer, more storage space for my phone and/or another camera, and editing software. I have shot some more footage and have some cool stuff coming. It just takes time and money getting started. Thanks for being patient with me. I'll let you know when I release my next video. We let this engine run for much longer than the video showed, with a lesser quality radiator & fan. It was has been in the 180-190 range with how much we ran it.
