This is the best! I figure it's not comfortable for you to show us how the sausage is made, but for those of us who struggle with perfection and being good enough, this is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your process, the easy flow and the challenging obstacles. Seeing someone wrestle with dead ends to make something new gives me permission to try again or change direction. It would be great if I didn't need it, but that's a different conversation. I'm glad you are willing to share.

Good morning Pam! 💕 I enjoy videos like this because it lets us see that projects do not always go well right off the bat. It encourages us to slow down, think, and in the end no panic necessary (my greatest weakness) as we’re only playing with glue and paper. If the fix works, great! If it doesn’t, the moon will not crash into the sea, the world continues on its axis, the sun rises tomorrow and we carry on. Enjoyed this! Hope all is well at the Outpost. You sound as if you’re battling a cold. Take care. 🤗

I love this idea! You could use the little mini address labels for “abc” dividers. Maybe save the return addresses from your packages with the senders info and just glue those in too. I want to make one to hold ephemera for traveling. Maybe make the back a bit bigger to use as a flap and add some material to the top and bottom like an accordion file. Now, where’s that book I just had. Wonder how long this is gonna take, lol.

I’m at 30 minutes in and your looking at stickers. What popped into my mind was this. First what a fantastic idea ❤️❤️❤️ Second I tear the addresses off envelopes from mail I receive and loosely tuck them into an ancient address book I have… is it possible one could combine just glueing these torn addresses directly into the book as well as stickers to right addresses on if they are from a package … hmmm 🤔 well of course one could as journaling has no right or wrong way. Thanks for your video not only have you inspired a place to put ephemera in a previous video but you’ve also inspired another way to repurpose books. 🤗

Any of the folded pages could be divided into pockets, just by cutting the tucked flap portion into sections, trimming edges and gluing different sides! That way some could be top loaded and some side loaded from the middle of the open book! You could also resold two consecutive pages to open from middle of book to outside for a large spread. I’m thinking that would be great to mount drawing or watercolor paper on for travel sketches. You inspire me!

Love seeing your process. I think its helpful to see mistakes being made. We can all learn from them. I fold all the pages of a hard cover book and decorated the inside book covers. It lays on it spine on my table fanned out and i put my daily mail in it. Will be making another to hold ephemera bits and pieces. I like how you made this. Can be a traveling ephemera holder. Just washi tape the sides of two pages and make pockets. Love your vids!

Skinwalker Ranch, it's kind of creepy! Is it a portal? Instead of shooting up rockets they should shoot up junk journals to whatever that orb is that appears. So instead of scaring people and making them faint "they" can catch the junk journal bug and junk journal until the cows come home and leave animal and humans alone. Lol.

Are you sick? Your voice sounds like you are. Cold? Allergies? Take care. Journal or address book, the extending pages will provide lots of space. I took a 300+ page book and made a tower type holder.i just let the spine curl into itself and glue it to a small diameter down. I cut the dowel about 3 inches longer for a handle to pick it up with. (My son said it looked like an air filter 😆) It is get for holding longer pieces (like envelopes) Yes! I watch Skinwalker Ranch. If you have any secret notes pertaining to the individual in your address book put a star by the name then make the note inside the flap - the star will indicate there's more info inside.
