@@charlesmiller6826 You were lucky, the stuff they issues us with at times was generally a roll a wipe, because it would disintegrate with the slightest touch. Best bet with that was to use something else, then use the paper to clean the finger. But was better than the stuff that came with actual wood fibres in the paper. Q stores was also a firm believer in one roll a month per person as being adequate. Thankfully the Officers mess toilets were often unoccupied from midnight, and they always had a dozen or so rolls as spare per stall, so you could always do some midnight shopping. Just had to wait for the lights to burn out, and the moon to be out. We took the TP, they came round because we had showers that worked, though one evening the one guy asked if they had fixed the hot water, as it had been out for a month. I had not noticed, seeing as the cold water was hot enough, especially at an ambient of 40C plus. Cold showers only, want cool water open the hot tap.
