The U.S.'s economy would tank if mass deportation was attempted. Our economy has avoided recession over the last year and a half largely due to increased migration. If mass deportation was attempted, our labor force would shrink so drastically that our economy would be in recession for years, if not decades. Conservatives need to take a look at their small towns, there is no real labor force being produced in them. Small town America (save for parts of the Northeast) is aging, full of hard drug use and many working age small town residents are on SS disability. This country needs the labor force produced by immigrants, documented or not. Trump's big business overlords would never allow him to engage in mass deportation. Further, the number of undocumented immigrants has been estimated to be between 11 and 12 million for 30 plus years. I suspect that this is a drastic underestimate. Immigrants, documented or not, are now an essential part of the fabric of almost every community in this country. They are married to U.S citizens, have U.S. citizens kids and own U.S businesses. The U.S. of today is not the U.S. of the Eisenhower administration, who engaged in mass deportation. Nor is the U.S. of today 1930's Germany. Trump's support is around 35% of the country, and more than likely the country is now majority minority. To all small town conservatives I say to you, you are not getting your country back. If it makes you feel any better, it was never really your country to begin with.

Half the time, those justices don't vote "conservative ". They actually vote pretty leftist. Anyway, you should be happy about the Supreme Court's decision. The reason why is now each state has the right to regulated it. That's true democracy, as the people in each state can decide what they want. The US Constitution expressively states that no right defined or given to the Federal Government is the right of the states through the 9th and 10th Amendments to the US Constitution. So, if you care about the law and true democracy, you'll support the court's decision. The Supreme Court didn't take away a woman's right to choose, but instead gave the voters the chance to decide.
