Was thinking the same thing, I've played 100+ games a hammy and I've never seen oil and coal together in Babylon let alone 4 barrels of it in like a 6 tile span, it's one or the other maybe but you dang sure can't get the trifecta and get aluminum. My cousin just got recently upset that he couldn't early war me as Germany at like turn 25 with 2 archers and two warriors, as I was getting the Xbox eureka, built and upgraded an archer to one and proceeded to torch his "army". Im like bruh, I'm not a city state you can just push over.

This video inspired me to try to see if I could naturally imatate the same results. First game today, put on pangea standard size map and ended up pretty secluded. Ended up with 2 sources of coal and oil with my empire. I was amazed how sick this guy is when everything goes right.

The technique of destroying the enemy air forces before they can take off has exist since ww1 im pretty sure. As soon as planes had enough range to reach an enemy’s airfield and bombs to drop. Taking out the enemy’s planes before they can become a threat was always something people did.
