I am aware of the immense amount of editing and scripting for videos of this nature but a minimum powerups run would introduce a new challenge (that being routing for the fire flower) but woulds also close the video with a grand finally (either crown-crown or crown-mystery house)

I tried this in one player mode and found that double cherry pass star coin three is possible using diagonal wall jumps

6:18 there is a way getting the star. When you use 2 player mode and let one go through the pipe, it actually destroys the spike, but also makes you small. After that, u have to use the other one and destroy the other spike, which allows u to get the star

Nice video! 9-1 star 2 is actually possible itemless. You can clip through the wall and go to the cloud using a 2 player clip, skipping the torches.

Nice video! Btw, through a multiplayer glitch you can actually clip through walls, making 2-Castle Star 3, 3-5 Star 2, Star-1 Star 2, and Flower-7 Star 1 possible with some out of bounds movement. To execute this you want to place two players side by side facing a wall, touching each other essentially. With one player, you want to jump, dive so you bonk against the wall, and then mash Y as quickly as you can. The other player should clip through, it’s inconsistent though.

So, i have watched this video and its very entertaining, however i think you should change the title to: How many green stars can you get in super mario 3D world without a power up, or something like that, because if someone reads the title they are gonna be like: yes you can beat it without power ups, and just not click.

I did also the challenge even before and Mystery House Wall Climb was my favorite level with this challenge. It was close but I was so surprised that it's possible to collect all green stars without the catsuit and that's amazing. Cosmic Cannon Cluster was for me also the hardest challenge and I didn't even use Multiplayer mode or Peach. I used Rosalina and barely got to every switchbox. It was hard but I was so glad that I made it. This challenge was more fun than I expect. I also managed to collect all stamps and flagpoles. By the top of the flagpoles nearly everyone is reachable without powerups which also surprised me.

this game is possible without - taking damamge - running - damaging unnecessary enemies - multiplayer - special moves except wall jumps and crouching - or power-ups - this was done by both infinite bits and evenbreaksgames - respect for you trying to get as much stars as possible tho, that was an insane amount

that'd be super short, since you can't make it past Chargin' Chuck Blockade (W1-A), if you use the warp pipe in W1-2, then you can get to W2, unfortunately, W2-A: Big Galoomba Blockade, is unbeatable without picking up coins or a fire flower.

76/85 The 9 You can't get and why are as follows: #1: You get this one for beating every Captain Toad stage, since there is a Captain Toad stage in World Crown, this one is unobtainable. #2: This one is found in the Stamp House in World Crown, again, unobtainable. #3: Found in the final stage Champion's Road, the stage is in, you guessed it, World Crown. #4: Found in the final Mystery House stage in World Crown. #5-9: Found by beating every level as every character, since World Crown is blocked off (since you need all Green Stars, Stamps and Golden Flagpoles to unlock it), these are also unobtainable. Source: I played this game, and this challenge.
