Fun fact (for people who didn't play the game) : after the ending,if you load your save file after the court scene,they show you in prison.then shigeki comes to your cell,he is able to bail you out.but he takes your money to pay your bounty. After that,your released.and there's more to the game. So be sure to play it!

I would agree but nah, the plot felt too edgy often. I mean, there's still some positive quirks like comedy and simple moments from a villain's perspective, but the entire plot in Rocket Edition has semblances of an edgy teenager writing the plot based on fan theories. Though ngl it's well written, it's just the edginess that drives me off. And I would agree on **some pokemon games** being bad, especially Sword and Shield with Rose and Eternatus - poorly executed, and I fear Scarlet/Violet will have the same bad parts that SwSh had, and the easy difficulty of X&Y as well. Black and White (and part 2) were the prime examples of dark storytelling tbh by Game Freak, the finale with N during your first battle with Alder was perfect and didn't end up edgy.

@@Traffa99 I have not played it again since. I got wrapped up in other games (both official and fan games). One in particular being Pokemon Wilds. It's like if you took the survival element of Minecraft and applied it to Gen 2. Sill in alpha but very fun. That and Radical Red. Very challenge and they added a ton to it since they started development. There are a couple of other things on the list too, like Pokemon Dreams and Emerald Roguelike to that are waiting to be finished as well. This is a very good suggestion but it is way to easy those other 2 moves (on my competitive pokemon) are used for moves like dragon dance ect and stab moves only power up the move by 1.5×

Maybe it's something they used to do in the older games, but I think its really cool that this game works a defeat into the story as it's always seems silly to me that in the games story even as a rookie at the beginning you are pretty much canonically never beaten in a battle even by trainers like the champions and gym leaders with years of experience.

Man I haven't seen this romhack really ever before and now that I see it, it is probably one of the best. This adds backstory to where the Kanto games didn't and more. This is a much more darker romhack and honestly if I never knew about Clover or Insurgence this romhack would probably be my favorite.

I'm very late lol. This is one of those rare rom hacks that actually has a mind-blowing story that actually makes sense. It even made me somehow hate myself when playing pokemon fire red because I always remember this and say "oh my god what if I'm not hooman?" "Oh god Prof. Oak stay away from me." and then just proceeds to feel bad for Giovanni. Everything in this rom hack changed how I look at characters in the game and I am in for it!
