For the forced kill in Braithwaite manor, what you can do instead is craft incendiary rounds and shoot the floor under them with them, killing them before you go in the room, this means that you technically killed them with fire projected from a shotgun.

I think you could buy another sawed off shotgun at the gunsmith for the off hand holster, which I think wouldn’t have forced you to use the Cattleman for some scenarios. Great video though!

shotguns are incredibly diverse in this game especially with the ammo options for example it could act as a rifle at long range which makes this challenge much less intimidating then it sound to get the slugs is a different story however

Yeah especially the pump shotgun, that was my main shotgun most of the time due to it being pretty good range wise and damage wise.

Tbh they're really not most weapons like the bolt action rifle or the Lancaster repeater beat every shotgun easily and the Lancaster you can get from day 1 in horseshoe overlook if you go to the Rhodes gun store both of these guns deal more damage have larger range have more ammo at 400 repeater and 200 rifle ammo respectively while shotgun only have a 120 at max meaning you'll need a refill more often they also have way less ammo types while both rifle's and repeaters have express regular hv explosive and split point while shotguns only have explosive slug fire buckshot regular buckshot and regular slugs meaning even then rifle's and repeaters have way more ammo the only real positive thing about shotguns are they're danger up close and the fact you can get the semi-auto shotgun from Watson's cabin on day one just like the Lancaster repeater but really often you won't even get close enough to shoot the shotguns as often most fights are at super long ranges and only a few encounters are close range meaning really if you want diverse you should probably go with the bolt action as it has access to magnifying sights it deals a lot of damage at a range it has decent ammo capacity and a decent size magazine and it can be used in close medium and long range without any issue the only real problem with it is the fact you can only unlock it in chapter 3 while something. Like the pump action semi-auto and double barreled shotguns are literally there from pretty early in the game

Rules: - Don't kill anyone unless absolutely necessary to progress the story - Don't kill animals unless absolutely necessary to progress the story - Unarmed combat is allowed but only when you cannot avoid the enemies - You have to have high honor throughout the playthrough to achieve a full pacifist ending You could easily buy health tonics to help prevent you from dying. It will be a pain, but something that hasn't been done before. You could even set a record for least kills in a single playthrough.

I believe that some of the cutscenes that forced you to shoot your revolver or draw can be done by shooting the gun out of their hands, which technically means that you didn't shoot them, you disarmed them, therefore not a kill. There are some that don't let you do that and you have to shoot the guy but I remember a few where I could just shoot their gun off and tackle them after. At the same time if you were to buy an offhand sawed off shotgun the disarming part would prove to be .. tricky aka you might blow someone's head off, but you know, they shouldn't have drawn their weapon in the first place All in all, great video, I enjoyed the commentary as well. Well done!

I really liked the marration (but i would have liked more jokes xdd). a tip for your next challenges: in the train robbery with Charles, sean and John, You don't need to hurt any passengers. If You wait long enough John Will hit them (this is useful for any "beating rdr2 with x weapon only". And a fun fact: in the first mission of the native american tribe, You can sneak inside the train. This doesn't seem strange but the interior of the train is veeeeeery diferent from the usual. Take a look for yourself. Another fact: if You don't press the grapple button in the fight with Milton, the cutsence starts faster.

Here’s a tip: if you are forced into deadeye like with John or in the Braithwaites house, you just have to shoot their hand with your revolver then you exit deadeye and can finish them with a shotgun.
