I've thoroughly enjoyed your SnS challenge runs, and I've got some tips to make your next few easier. 1. You can skip the spindlebeasts. if you approach the Pitchwoods from the Far Beach sanctuary, you can get to the jumping puzzle at the first midpoint. From there, you can unlock the first shortcut, then continue back toward the order of the betrayer sanctuary. Unlock that gate, return to the sanctuary, then continue on with the game until you get to Siam Lake. Continue past the sanctuary, and unlock the gate to the order of the betrayer sanctuary. At this point, you've got a way under the spindlebeasts. 2. You don't need to join Devara's Light to get blessed pages. Placing a stone cleric at any sanctuary will allow you to buy them. 3. To achieve the Dominion ending achievement, you need to find and talk to the Scarecrow in all 5 places. Your dialogue choices don't matter, only that you talk to it. The first one is in the Village of Smiles, near the 3 sanctuary. The second is on the Castle of Storms, on the way to the Red Hall of Cages. The third is in the Ziggurat of Dust, near the Bloodless Prince boss fight; either after the fight and just beyond the candle, or before the fight if you're approaching from the Ruined Temple. Fourth is in the Crypt of the Dead Gods, shortly after leaving the Salt Alchymancery. If you've talked to all four, beat the Nameless God, jump past the well and talk to the Scarecrow and take the helmet. Looking forward for your next challenge runs!

If you want a reason why Murdalia Mal drops no Salt, it's likely because she isn't Saltborn. She's one of only two beings we see in-game that possesses what is called a Candlelit Soul, which per the lore is what the final boss so desperately wanted.

You forgot about another set of “Bombs” There’s a secret covenant that sells Blood Bombs that debuff enemy’s defs for about 10 seconds.

Here's another fun pick from the deep knowledge pot for a future run: If you try to use a weapon you lack the class nodes to wield, you will use big slow useless animations. ...Unless you perform a rolling attack. You then do the normal rolling attack animation, but still deal the 'you can't use this weapon' level of damage.

Great video! A tip for dodging the Kraken Dragon's attacks. You can jump to avoid most attacks. Yes, it does not make sense, but you can just jump through the melee combo. Just jump through the trident itself to avoid the stabbing move. (I've been playing the randomizer mode, and had to learn to dodge his moves in melee range). As for the lightning ball, if you jump at the time he taps his staff to the ground, the ball won't hit you, though you might have to at least attack to stall long enough in the air. I think the damage hitbox is attached to the shockwave of the attack, not the weapon/projectile itself.

Hey, it's always nice to have more content about this game, and it's a nice change of phase for someone to do a challenge run while learning the little bits of the game. Also, I think it may be useful for maybe a future "only throwable/crossbow challenge" how aiming mid air, stops you from falling for a bit, it's only 2 seconds stretching it, but it may come in handy for the dragon breath attack for example.
