Can you beat Spyro the Dragon without breaking chests?

Spyro 2 might not be difficult because Moneybags only charges for a small fraction of your gems though Glimmer might be tight as that Money bags is a tutorial. Spyro 3 might be more interesting though as he charges a lot more for characters and you need to free them to beat their stages which are required to get to the bosses. I'm definitely curious though!

This is a good adaptation challenge from Crash, No Boxes. Good job! Some people might take issue with killing the Jack-in-the-Box but he comes out of his box. So still follows the rules.

"only an insane person would put someone in a chest so it doesn't count" - said about the cages, which is 100% fair. I think "barrels" are actually closer to chests anyway and those were fair game. XD but they don't contain gems. Though if the barrels did count in the speedways, I don't think he'd have made it.

I think my favorite thing about this challenge is the fact that it sounds like a sleeper challenge until you realize the 6000 gem requirement and how we take for granted how many gems are actually in chests. It was nail bitingly close! Not sure if this could be done to same effect in Spyro 2 and 3. Money bags does sell required items to pass certain areas, but I don't think you ever get close to not having enough gems. Spyro 3 on the other hand locks characters behind Moneybags who are notably more expensive and while I know at the end Spyro flames Money Bags until he gets ALL his gems back, every one in the game, I don't recall if they're required to fight the Sorceress.

Very interesting challenge. That's definitely a challenge condition I haven't seen before Suggestion: try to have some background music going. Kevin MacLeod has tons of selections and is copyright royalty free. It’ll help keep people engaged on your videos by filling in quiet bits.

I'm sure if you wanted to you could go back to Haunted Towers and see if any of the suits of armour that come to life on the stairs leading up to the perma super flame for that level can be defeated with super flame from another part of the level. But the purpose of the video was beating the game not how much can be done so up to you :)
