I haven’t watched your videos for a while, because I wasn’t really into diy wide body mods on cars just for aesthetics, but I got a notification earlier and decided to check you out. I enjoyed watching this one. A total of $220 for what has been done on your engine’s head is a bargain, dude. For example I’m from Bulgaria, here the average salary is around 500/600€ and the last time I had to put my engine’s head and give it to a shop that only deals with engine heads to get it in order I spent 175€ and the head was from a single camshaft engine with 8 valves only. $900 for this Honda HRV is a bargain even here in my god forgotten poor country. Love to see that you got your sons around you all the time. I’m kinda envious, cuz I got divorced and my 3 year old son lives with my ex wife(of course) and I haven’t seen him since Christmas. I can tell that you’re living the dream. Best wishes to you and your family! I’ll stay tuned for your next video.

Along with the other comments, the reason built official is the channel it is, is because it’s real. It’s stuff we can all do. I don’t watch any car content other than this channels. Edit - haven’t laughed so hard at a KZbin video when your kid was saying “there’s a car in the wilderness”

It's been a bit since I caught one of your vids but it is so great that your channel has stayed true. I subscribed a couple years back after watching some of your widebody Audi vids and was brought in by this family guy who is also a car guy. Just give it a try is your way of doing things and I think that is great. You keep it honest by showing mistakes and down to earth by working on everyman projects, with simple instruction while interacting with the kiddos. Congrats on your new addition by the way, and I hope your channel continues to grow and you are able to entertain and inform for years to come.

Check if ur seats are the camper type. Pull the front seats all the way forward then remove the headrest. Lean front seats all the way back. The back seats have q lever to the side that tilts them upward and then a pull lever near the headrest that leans them back. It should pretty much turn into a bed.

I bought a 1991 Foxbody mustang 2.3 for $1000 running and driving with absolutely no rust! With clean Arizona title. It is definitely possible to get cars cheap still, you just have to find the right deals and not be too impatient. That’s one of my big issues. I’m real impatient and jump on whatever I think is a good deal. Luckily this one did me right and puts a smile on my face when I jump in it just knowing im driving a 91 mustang. The 5.0 swap will be coming soon tho 🤩

It wasn't running tho. I almost bought a 1964 impala running for 4500$the same year but someone got to it before I did. Shoot even in 2006 I found early 90s NSX for 18k$ and mid 80s Lamborghini for 24k$. Both those cars today are up close to 100k$ or more now. I kick myself in the arse for so many missed opportunities.

Yea it’s funny because mine is the 2000 Honda crv AWD and idk if it’s something they did to it different from the 1999-1997 model but I swear after I drove a 1999-1997 it felt slightly slower but driving a 2000 I swear the slight difference in power is what helps you forget how slow the rd1 really are 😂especially going uphill , merging on to the highway etc. I remember how load the engine got going up a hill and how load the car is over 60 miles idk …. The only difference i saw in the engine bay is the older model has the more restrictive air intake etc manifold
