Might be a little on the nose, but Rowan, it means red-head. The Rowan tree also has a large folk history in Europe, a couple of beliefs where that it gave protection from malevolent beings and that it was a tree associated with journeys and would keep you from getting lost. I once booked a drawing course for beginners just to see whether I could get back into drawing. I love Anime and Manga since childhood but got into writing as a teenager which got me more hooked than drawing. Even though my intention was too get back into drawing, the knowledge I got from that course actually helped me with my writing. Seeing your videos actually gives me inspiration for my writing. I think most younger artists don’t understand how this is supposed to work. You’re not supposed to draw objects. It’s laying down shape texture and shadow. Like scribbling only with a zen state of mind. You don’t try to get objects to form from the drawing. You just try to put marks on the paper. I once heard Mobius compare it to stretching before you exercise.

how about Ragna. or Ragna Redmane. means "reign" or council. I think it fits if you are going for a dragon-y, intrigue-focused story, royalty, warring tribes kind of feel in my opinion. there's a male name "Ragnar" that was worn by a swedish (?) king which mean reign/council plus lord/warrior which sound really similar, which Also fits the theme in my opinion. Redmane could be a family name. especially when you say different hair and eye colours run in certain family lines in this fantasy world. it could work for further worldbuilding as in having a family named Redmanes because they are mostly redheads or Honeyborn for a family of people with amber-coloured eyes and/or honey-brown hair. In my region in Europe people's surnames often come from either a job description (like Smith, Miller, Saddler, Big, Small) or a personal characteristic of one of the family members (Lame, blonde, Fairchild) or sometimes where they lived (as in " I mean the Hans that lives on the mountain not the Hans that lives by the river). Maybe the Redmanes could even put a claim on redheaded children born in their vicinity to gain them as part of their tribe and an offspring from the Redman family with another hair colour would be given to another family once they are a certain age to gain education there. Maybe the different tribes could also have different animal spirits to guide them. like the Redmane having a fox maybe and the honeyborn having a bear but still dragons being a thing.

I do alot of automatic drawing, it really is what I enjoy the most when it comes to art. It's like meditation. I find if your mind tries to keep stepping in and trying to interpret or define what your doing, listen to a book or music, something that really takes your thoughts off what your doing.
