I got the Jonny 0ctave. The thing was damn belligerent... it fought me at every turn - it didn't care what context I was using it in. And a variety of sounds? Nope. Not a chance. It did one thing... IT'S 0WN THING! And that's it, which is fine but not exactly worth what I paid for it. I sold it. I think ZVEX makes collector's pedals. You buy it, leave it in its box, then sell it in 10 years when people are buying it for its rarity.
@geraldfriend2563 жыл бұрын
@@PolaOpposite Some brilliant ones and some utter garbage like the Machine.I would think the Johnny Octave(2 octaves setting ?) would be more in the latter personally.The SuperHardOn is a goodie to me..yet you get 4 or 5 transistors for 200$ .Or opt for their 3,000 $+ phase that runs on a candle.nope.That being said...I need a ZVex Sonar trem unit in my life..Imma buy it when someone dumps theirs on the cheap.
@PolaOpposite3 жыл бұрын
@@geraldfriend256 The Sonar is freakin' amazing. Thanks for the recommendation. I picked up a mint from reverb just now... yeah, no self-control whatsoever. I probably should have waited for the price to come down. I almost bought a hand painted one at full price... but I checked myself. Btw, have you heard the 0ld Blood Noise Endeavors Whitecap tremolo? It's a really interesting double tremolo algorithm that you can run parallel or in series. I recently bought the Whitecap and Visitor... they do a lot of duel stuff. I think 0ld Blood Noise is undervalued, which is kind of weird considering they've collaborated on the Chase Bliss Mood. I wonder what your thoughts are on them.
