February 13, I was at 36 days seizure free when I had 5 in the waiting room of my primary doctors office. My first seizure on the floor, I was taken to the hospital for observation because when I landed on the floor I landed on my VERY large hernia (Stella). I can't have Stella removed until I have the stomach surgery because it's a ZERO survival rate. I'm constantly in pain, it's hard to walk, and the depression is so hard sometimes to deal with. I just wished someone would say, "come on, we can help you do do this!" I have amazing health insurance but I'm too high risk. I'm 61 and really want to have this surgery before it kills me!

It’s easy to judge. The solution seems simple to someone who has not been in a similar situation. I was 350lbs and it is a vicious cycle. Once you are too big to move freely, the weight skyrockets. It makes you feel like a prisoner in your own body. The weight loss is so slow and it is easy to get discouraged by setbacks and just give up. I lost ~170lbs but it was never ever easy. It’s been 12 years and keeping my weight off for me is still a daily struggle. Being addicted to something that you also need to survive.. it almost feels like a cruel joke at times. If you have never dealt with these things, congrats! I hope for your sake you never will.

Stopped working out and just ate hot and readys from little caesars everyday because they were only 5 bucks smh....I went right back up to 286. I started again in January and I'm now down to 259.
