Maybe if you trusted someone other than yourself, you wouldn't have diabetes in the first place. This video is full of good recommendations. He knows what he is talking about and if you learned a thing or two then all the better. And it didn't cost you a cent to watch it either. Maybe if you got off your ass and started exercising, you wouldn't need to be glued to your glucose meter. ..and maybe work on trusting people a little more.

You can eliminate the glucose spike from oatmeal if you add some healthy fat from nuts or cream, some protein powder, and even mix in some soluble fiber powder.

Yes, but avoid instant oats as they will spike your sugars very quickly. Steel-cut oats are best but take a long time to cook. Old fashioned or rolled oats can be OK in a pinch.

you're mentioning instant oatmeal with added sugars. Quaker 1 minute instant oats in the large round container has no added sugar.
@WadmanP Жыл бұрын
Apparently, the processing which makes oats faster to cook also dramatically raises its glycemic effect. For me, this was on the order of 50-70 points even two hours postprandial (with added Benefiber, Ceylon cinnamon, and a glass of correctly diluted ACV!). I'm now experimenting with regular slow cooked oats that have been cooled in the fridge overnight.
