In June 2022 I made gross $20000 from just only one 26ft straight box truck (Saturday and Sundays off) and I made $2000 based on 10% deal with my carrier.

I’ve only manage to gross at most $5K per week doing dry van. I can see $8K per week using paper logs and cheating the heck out of your logs. How is a truck able to gross $10K per week running solo on eLogs? I can see $10K per week running teams but no way running solo. Is there something I’m missing here? Please tell me that making $10K per week running solo is not just another myth. Because so far I think it is.

Ty, in current market conditions, most Dry Vans gross $4k-$6k. Flats can do better with $6-$8k. Some specialty trailers or teams may do more, but getting $10k in gross every week for a trucking company will be challenging... at least in current market conditions.

In my opinion, the question "how many trucks can 1 person dispatch effectively" is related more to market conditions. When the market is booming and there's abundance of loads even not so experienced dispatcher can handle more than 5 trucks without dragging down the efficiency.

You are correct Tim, it is easier to dispatch more trucks when market is good. However, you should probably accept only as many clients as you can efficiently handle in any market conditions (including bad ones).

Houssem, if you intend to try a similar concept, consider hiring a regular full-time virtual assistant. Then train them to do certain basic tasks, like completing broker-carrier packets. Then add other tasks such as calls or driver communication. Eventually, you will have a fully trained assistant, which can help you save time and energy.
