You should try burying a bunch of bills in a tupperware container and see if it hits.

So if it was a stack of money like 10k would you detect it in the ground?

Over the years ive been daft enough to send cash inside cards for birthday, Christmas pressys etc. A lot of them are not received, which makes me wonder; Do post people have a gadget to detect cash in envelopes?

The Euro banknotes are the same the ink & security thread is magnetic, I hope magnets & metal detectors don't damage the security off the banknotes?

So,if i go to an airport w 10k it will trigger the metal detector doe all the metal bands together?

Confirmed! My Gold Bug II picked up money too! I was thinking yours was picking up your money because you magnetized it a bit. But no, my unmagnetized money was picked up. Love my Gold Bugs !

I saw this thing on tik tok where there was a sliver of metal in 10, 20 and 50 dollar bills.
@greenteambc6 жыл бұрын
Does this have metal in the ink ? Manganese?
@goldsilverandiamonds7 жыл бұрын
How do you know that its not picking up you hand since that seemed to give a better signal? A test with something wood or plastic holding the money would be a better test. But very cool either way to see this.
@USMiner7 жыл бұрын
Hand and bills are different signals (and my hand is not detectable from that far), that's why I had to re-groundbalance to get a good signal from the bills. But I agree, to be completely thorough it should be done with some plastic tongs or something, I'm confident the results would be the same.

The elite don’t want you to have control of your own money. They want you to remain a slave to their system.

Sounds like my dogs squeaker toy. You said that it is a premium metal detector? What was the name?
@USMiner8 жыл бұрын
It's fairly decent gold detector for a VLF, it's called a Gold Bug 2. I use it mostly for hard rock detecting myself and not a whole lot else these days.

Cool. I'll check them out. I am thinking of getting a metal detector after seeing some of these videos of using them.

Its an investment, but pays for itself with one good nugget
@USMiner8 жыл бұрын
It can...it's hard though! People like me make it look way easier in our videos than it really is. In reality I can go weeks, hundreds of hours between nuggets sometimes and all that gas and food in the field adds up. I don't show that part on video though :)

That sounds like a good time to me. Any reason to get out of town with a chance of getting paid is cool. I need to move my ass back out to the country. I miss the freedom of hiking around not needing to worry about trespassing every other 1/4 mile like I do here on the east coast

I've never used my detectors for paper money. But, I've found well over $2k just walking to the local parks on Sat and Sunday morning where I pass several clubs and have found so many bills, phones, keys and single shoes LOL. I once found $300 plastered to a cyclone fence in high winds and another time $240 in $20's strewn on rain soaks streets over 2 blocks. Another $156 in a muddy gutter right in front of Starbucks. A 50 cal. casing with a spring loaded flip lid with $440 odd dollars stuffed in it and some cocaine. Then there's other stuff. 20 kilos of pot floating down the river while fishing, it was tightly wrapped layers of plastic. Hand warmer case full of meth in small bags. Last month a loose 1ct IF diamond at a parking meter in the mud (sprinklers) with a small portion glinting in the sun and sold it for $1880. Lost cat with a $500 reward. I didn't take the reward, instead they donated it to the animal shelter I do volunteer work for at my request.

The magnet does not prove paper money is magnetic because you do the same on a metal like Iron. It will be attracted and iron does not create a magnetic field. In my opinion, it means that US bills are magnetic OR they have some metal to be detected (with magnets).
@johnsoncrefo98045 жыл бұрын
Quentin Rufin what in the world did he just say. sounded more like the ramblings of a toddler. Something like "Iron is not magnetic, because if iron was magnetic, then it wouldn't be magnetic"

learn something new every day, i did not know us bills were detectable, i knew british bank notes are, but uk banknotes have a strip of platinum(to the value of the note) in each banknote so a couple of 5 grand wads rings like hell.

Me too, I didn't know UK banknotes had platinum in them.

I just deciphered your avatar text there btw - do you build coilguns? I did my senior thesis/research on designing them with idea being potential movers to eject ore from asteroids/the moon/comets/etc for future space mining efforts. It's been 15 years though so I don't remember a whole lot.
