Definitely your experiencing expansion from heat due to friction. You can try to eliminate the friction or at least lessen it. As well as you could try a cooling option like a small recirculating water tower... Good luck. Decent build for your first time. 👍 Observe. Test. Repeat as necessary.

Im finding that today's windows 10, version 1909 Google Earth Pro, is a foat paint splat with no tilt function and other things missing. Windows XP Pro was far superior to it.

Hi, I'm from Papua New Guinea, country just north of Australia. I have a huge rock with me, and it's a kind of glassy type that is transparent and it's green in color. I need further advice to confirm if it's Jade before I can proceed further to search for potential markets. I can provide photos awaiting your feedbacks.

Nephrite's composition is such that certain amount of care should be taken when grinding and polishing. It is partly made up of metamorphosed asbestos and care should be taken not to breath the dust.

Realy interesting to see a jade outcrop like that. No matter the quality it's just cool to see. Sure even the lower quality stuff has value. I'm a hobby lapidariest, and carver. Jade is a wonderful stone to work with.

Hi, nice videos! I've mined tourmaline and collect it as well. A lot of others have commented on repairing mineral specimens and in my opinion I think that it is common, acceptable and a great idea as long as it is disclosed. Many of the finest tourmaline specimens in the world have been reconstructed after opening pockets and finding them in pieces from a previous geophysical event. Here's a link to one of the best tourmaline discoveries ever: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mV6qlJ9_mceGkJI , The Pederneira Mine in Brazil. The greenish-yellow might be an Epidote mineral which is commonly found in pegmatites and where one might find tourmaline. As far as sales go Black Tourmaline is the most common and is + or - 90% of overall productions. The single float crystals that are well formed hexagonal/trigonal shapes are desired by collectors and can sell for about a dollar a gram, gas money. The matrix pieces are worth more and pegmatite chunks of Feldspar, Quartz and Black Tourmaline can be sold to custom stone masons that do high end work like fireplaces and such. On gluing; use only enough to hold it back together! A tiny bit of super glue in the center can repair a crystal and while you'll see the crack you won't see glue around the seam. On larger matrix chunks use a good 2 part epoxy with a decent working time a hold it together with duct tape strips. let it sit for 24 hours to full set. A dot of pink nail polish on the bottom can be your ID that it's been fixed. Many very fine mineral specimens have been repaired by career repair people, just disclose it and you're cool. Early spring time can be a good time to prospect around an area like yours. After the winter has washed it and the snow has melted things will be on the surface, clean and the plants haven't yet started camouflaging. A sunny morning after a rain is perfect. Seeing what you've found, I'd go back and knock around some more! Best wishes and good luck! P.S. I might be interested in some of those small pieces.

HELLO 🖐🇹🇷 When traveling off-road, the wm 12 wireless sound module abruptly cuts off the sound from the detector and the sound is completely gone. I turn the detector off and on again to bring back the sound. Do you have this problem? Or is my wm 12 wireless sound module defective?

though I had some problem with sea water It also kzbin.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Could you, USMiner, or anyone else hazard a guess as to how well this machine would handle slag? Slag pulverized to a fine size, a bit larger in size than a powder (don't have a mesh size handy ATM)? Flour is probably a good description of what I'm looking for, in fact. Would crushing slag just wear this machine out...with or without hardened steel in the various places the designer suggests might improve the longevity of the machine?

What part of Arizona is this? Like eastern or western? Also what detector do you recommend for someone who's never done this before? Also how do you know where you can mine or detect that's not a claim or private property already? This is fascinating as hell lol

Aluminum on the steel, different expansion and contraction ratios. I discovered the same thing, on my original BMX ball mill before I removed the shinky motor, the pulley was relatively welded on.

I brought a bunch back from Alaska. I spend 8 months in Alaska every year and just happened upon a rather large deposit of jade. When I was in the service I purchased a ring purchased in Asia for next to nothing. I also purchased a loose cab. Now apparently the 2 are considered top . I also saw white, black and other colors. In Asia right now the top stones being collected are actually Tanzanite and jade not quite as much.
