Loved this! Quick question - if you don't edge highlight Kieran, what's your tactics for painting marines in particular? I love how both your Chaos Wolves and Thousand Sons look on IG but didn't realise that this was the case. I've got a bloody large horde of unpainted Space Marines & Chaos Marines both & any shortcut tips would be incredibly appreciated! 😂

So I've found that drybrushing is such a simple and effective way of getting around the edge highlight step. Alternatively my Thousand Sons don't actually have any edge highlights at all. The rich colour against the streaking grime create such a great effect. Half the time I don't think you need to edge highlight 🤷‍♂️

Awesome thanks man! I’ve found mixed results in the past with dry-brushing power armour on space marines but will give it a go with some grime on chaos marines (as they’re less clean by nature) and see what results we can get! Cheers again 😊
