I PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS With your help I adjusted from 22 at night to 16 in morning. A steady line all night long, no more low alarms! This morning the cortisol bump was much less too. Thank you.

subbed when I found you on the dawn effect episode - good content - thanks as a type 2 total insulin dependent - hello from perth Western Australia - as per the video 2 hours after evening meal low 6 and in the morning mid to high 6 - lost 26kgs low carb/keto for 9 months lantus basal down from 140 - 8 units plus 2 units humalog in the morning to limit dawn effect ?? when glucose now rises to 7 -8 mid morning - might go back to 10 units and cut the humalog for a week to settle things down before deciding if it is needed for dawn effect - thanks again - you are the only vlog that talks about injectable insulin affecting glucose levels and how they balance etc

Ps sounds reasonable Run it past your doctor I’d probably not increase the lantus though. Not initially anyway as no guarantees you’ll need to titrate that. But have a chat with the doc Usually from my experience they’re quite happy to try things and you can always add it back in if the humalog is needed or try 10 units. You’ll know within a day or two the result so can make a prettt quick assessment
