Yes i did that 2 days ago. I was surprised. Literary just the post came out all i did was not even hit. Just kept kinda moving or pushing post with force from side to side, left right etc.. at times hanging my wholevbody with arms from post lol. At one point it felt so loose that i said oj the ball 9f concrete will fome out now with rod cause . l was expecting a rod to come bout with cemwnt all-around it and wow jusr the post came out. when i pulled iout of grpundLijust the post came out The post had been there over 18 years. I guess. By moving in post from side to side. It detached from concrete. Thank you!!🌜☺

That is a cool demonstration. I had a flag pole made of 4 inch galvanized pipe with a cement ball on the bottom. I tried to chizel it of but it was a ton of work. My buddy told me to hit the pipe not the cement with a sledge hammer while it was laying on the ground. The concrete fell off in pieces. I lost a case of beer over it. I didnt think it would work. I was wrong.

I'm in the habit of welding 3x2 inch lengths of 2x1" RHS onto 4 inch NB gal corner posts at equal spacings around the post and equal space depths. Post in with a rock under it and fill a 12 inch diameter hole with concrete. It appears that I may have been overdoing it...

I removed several unwanted steel posts with concrete footings attached. Now I want to reuse the posts, because they're expensive. . How would you remove the concrete? Jackhammer? Other ideas..?

😬 That doesn't sound fun. It's going to depend somewhat on the quality of the concrete, but these things tend to be set pretty solidly. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3PKiKtorp6joJo You might consider cutting them off at the concrete level and then welding some more pipe inside of it. Not sure how much of a savings you'll get at the end of the day though.

There a way to do losen the post. You have to use high amount of electricity. And put the post under lightning ⚡️. The concrete will turn back to sand and rock. It takes just a view second’s

Think of the video as a hunt for a pop. And we didn't find one. ☹

Hey, I thought this was a family friendly channel, all that beating of the post business. It might not have worked like you had hoped, good attempt though.
