I use retinol in the summer and I live in the southern United States and we have to wear sunscreen constantly, so I don’t see the difference. I buy affordable sunscreen, so I don’t mind slathering it on.

Retinol products and vitamin C products reduce hyperpigmentation,and brighten the skin. But how do they work with self tanner products? A self tanner product darkens the dead cells on the skin surface. Do the retinols and vitamin C products work against the self tanner? Do they cancel each other out? Simply put, can I use self tanner with any or all skin brightening products? Thank you.
