He was the only guy who refused to be a puppet to Nyerere, he fought for the capitalism in Tanzania, but Nyerere and Kawawa were too much for him, he was forced into exile in 1967.

He lost credibility when he declared that Nyerere had stashed a lot of money in Europe (he forgot the evidence in England, how??) then saying that Nyerere was a Tutsi, Malecela was Congolese and Kawawa+Mkapa was from Mozambique. Ujamaa was a failure economically but a success spiritually. With 120 tribes, without ujamaa we might have had civil wars like other nations. 120 tribes working together using 1 language is a success in my opinion. I wish the successor's dealt with the economy from 1985 but they chose the other route. There's hope for Tanzanians now.....

@@janeyoj8228 Were you around during Nyerere's tenure? Rumor has it that Kambona advised Nyerere not to jump directly into socialism system. They should do it part by part. But Nyerere decided to go full fledged socialism country halafu baadaye tumerudi tena katika ubepari. That concludes Kambona was damn right! It wasn't a smart move to go by!

Kambona kwa malengo yake binafsi na nia ovu alikivunja kitengo cha special branch ndani ya jeshi la polisi, na kuliacha jeshi likiwa halina chombo cha kupata taarifa, na baada ya kukivunja chombo hicho, kambona alijitengenezea chombo chake binafsi cha kukusanya taarifa.
