whilw registing to ircc portal it asks invite code, what is that ?

I have explained all of this to my students in my DIY course. The IRCC Portal is likely where the new Canada H1B Work Permit will be submitted; however, anything could change and IRCC could open something completely different. No one knows for certain. Traditionally the IRCC Portal has required people to have an invite code because they didn't want this portal to become overrun too quickly. The IRCC Portal was originally created to process Canadian visitor and study permits. However, they have now expanded it to open work permits. It may be the a Code will not be needed for the Canada H1B Work Permit; however, just in case, I am telling everyone to be ready for anything. Please, do Canada visa officers review previous study permit refusals before making a decision on the current application? Or only the current one is reviewed and judged based on its merit and demerit?

OINP has issued me my Nomination certificate but my express entry profile expired and now they have transferred my nomination to new express entry profile. Will I get a new Nomination certificate or the one they already issued me with expired EE details will suffice?

Honestly H1Bs have built US, and US treats them like absolute garbage, so its a great move by Canada. This way it can basically get 'trained' professionals who can work for US companies using near-shoring. However most H1B workers wouldn't move to Canada because of fewer opportunities and without any sense of permanency like a green card, it will be a tough decision for them between India and Canada. Moreover, salaries in India have also gone up tremendously in recent years. If Canada changes it to a automatic PR for H1B workers and there actually is a recession in US, Canada's economy is going to see a sudden inflow of high skilled immigrants and about 840B$ (1trillion CAD) of cash from the saving and investments that H1B workers have in US.

Please answer this question: I have updated my IELTS score on my express entry profile after 3 months of my OINP application submission. I'm already at "decision in progress" state, hope the update will not cause any rejections or issues as I have already informed OINP about this update with both ielts results. Note that my new ielts reduces my CRS as well. Please tell me if this will not cause any issues?? Thanks!

Thank you so much for this video! I have a question - Both me and my wife have H1B and we were able to submit application including the other one as dependent. So now, both of us have 2 applications each with different application numbers (one as primary applicant via personal IRCC account and second as dependent applicant). IRCC has sent a message for providing biometrics on all applications. How should we proceed? With one application/person or two? If one, preferable to choose any specific application like the one where the person is the primary applicant and what to do about the other application? (communicate cancellation to IRCC somehow?)

Hello Sir I have a question which is concerning me a lot: On the IRCC document checklist page, it says that one needs to upload all PCC's in Color or rejection can take place. People who lived in the US or are currently there know that FBI issues PCC in black and white since it's their standard format for the PCC. I've read on a lot of community pages where they said that FBI used to issue color PCC in the past but now, it's all B&W for everyone. Since it's their official format, how to get through this without facing rejection.

Do not worry my friend. It is unlikely that IRCC will request PCCs up front in any event. However, even then, FBI PCCs are all Black and White in "original format", so this is exactly the format in which they will be submitted. Good luck on your application.

Hi sir Its me Sarita Tamang from Nepal who applied for student visa on August 17th 2023 practical nursing course Fleming college Ontario, Peterborough.We lost our house and property because of landslide. Being on H1B I am planning to apply for this open work permit and in my application I am planning to include my wife(dependent H4). But my wife recently travelled to India and would be back to USA in 1.5 months. How would I be able to get my wife's biometric done, considering she is in India? Should I think about applying just for my Open Work permit? If I apply just for myself, can I apply for her work permit later, based on my approval?

Your spouse can obtain biometrics in India if required. We discussed this in my Master Class tonight. There are pros and cons to including family. It will definitely take longer to submit an application with a family versus a single applicant. However, if family is not included in the original application, the principal applicant would "likely" need to secure a job offer and be "employed" in Canada before a work permit for a spouse and study permit for children can be filed with IRCC. Now IRCC could create separate rules to make the process easier; however, this is what policy requires for spousal open work permits at this time. Current processing times are around 6 to 7 weeks, so there would inevitably be some form of separation. But.....it really comes down to preference. I have taught my students how to file quickly...and file accurately. So I am pretty confident they will be able to get their whole family in before many individual applicants file with just one person.
