Heres my take, china had those balloons up, and alien crafts are also around, the pentagon shared video of ufos(unknown objects( and they had no idea what they were. I wouldnt think we would be able to shoot down an alien ufo.. but what if they just did, assuming all these things are from china and so shooting first. It's unlikely the one shot down over Alaska was Chinese. It came from the North. China would have had to send it over Russia or across Alaska first for it to have gotten where it was and it was reported as entering from the North. Unless it was launched from a ship or submarine it probably came from an arctic country or it was a domestic launch from Alaska or Canada. My guess is Russia, the Chinese air ship was probably probing defenses and sharing the intel with Russia. Then again it could be something entirely new. It didn't get much attention but about a month ago Russia shot down a spherical object that kinda looked like a balloon. They just called it a UFO. You can see the video on youtube.

Yes, as part of NORAD they were scrambled also but Alaska is right beside the Yukon territory and were tracking it since the day before, when it was in Alaska. The Canadians would probably be coming from Cold Lake Alberta which is further away, so the F-22s were there first and shot it down.
