It’s sad because Kang actually has so much potential to be a fun and interesting villain to the new avengers, the idea of a guy with endless versions of himself traveling through time is cool and the avengers having to get creative in order to stop him is also awesome, however it’s a shame that this whole idea was shelved, as much as I love Doom, I don’t think the MCU is ready for him at all.

It is a shame that Marvel/Disney took the decision to let Jonathan Majors go...Kang the Conquorer would have been a GREAT transition for the multiverse story line. If they had stuck with Jonathan, they could have seen a great numbers of bums on seats and enthusiasm going to the cinema. Together with a solid storytelling and possitive feedback. Because the whole Kang saga was building up to another origiinal idea that the cinema goers would have enjoyed. Alas, we are instead going to be "entertained" by Rober Downey Jr/Tony Stark as Dr Doom! This will give Marvel/Disney a hefty sum of cash, for sure. But at the end, the result will not be the same as the Avengers stories Infinity War and Endgame. We must be dumb! Maybe, the thinking behind this, is while watching the Doom saga, us the audience, will compare which character Robert did best.....Now I get it, ....Silly me!

Just as long as the Council is written off in a well received way I will be happy. I feel like it’s going to be He Who Remains’ final meeting with Loki that led to Loki realizing his actual power was a contingency plan against all other Kangs, and that’s why the Exiled Kang was mentioned at the end of the season. I would like at least one more concrete mentioning but nonetheless, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it written away as He Who Remains contingency plan just like with Victor Timely.

Let me tell you what we missed, Avengers Vs. Squadron Supreme! In the comics, Scarlet Centurion brought Marvel's JLA from Earth-712 to Earth-616 to contest who? Grandmaster! Yeah Marvel dropped the ball. The Kang War storyline from the '70's was epic!: Kree, Scrull, Coatai war. Vision Marries Scarlet Witch! Swordsman (yes from Hawkeye) marries Mantis! Yellowjacket & Wasp join! At least I still got the comics... Excelsior!

Even though it has been scrapped now; I theorize this project, titled as (AVENGERS: KANG DYNASTY) movies, might get put into the works someday. But I imagine that different actors, would play each different variation of KANG. In my opinion- Kang sucks. He sucks in the comics, he sucks in the movies, and he sucks as a villain. If someone like Nighcrawler solos him in the comics he sucks, The whole idea of him is that hes not a big threat- hes just a constant threat. If you are trying to build the universe around a constant threat you already have Ultron who is 100x the antagonist Kang ever was. I just don't get why they decided Kang over the Beyonders, Agatha, THE KING IN BLACK! If you didn't want to a big name like Thanos again any of these work and encourage character development in all your heros because there presence is actually threatening.
