@@Pyroverbs205 Basically I was playing an online video game called World of Warcraft. Some guy came up to me, asked if I had a minute to talk or something along those lines. I initially was going to lash out at him and cuss him out, but that's how I used to be; but something compelled me to listen to him. To hold my tongue. Looking back, it was pretty strange. Then he asked me what I thought happened after we died. I had come to the conclusion the night before that we were nothing but slabs of meat that rot in the Earth. And after that: nothingness. That's when this stranger shared with me the good news, the gospel. I remember telling him that a god whose stance on us is "worship me or go to hell" wasn't a god worthy of bending the knee to. But he shared with me the good news, and explained just how much God really did love me. He then told me, it was my choice or not, to go to a website and read a verse they posted about proclaiming Christ as Lord who died on the cross, and repenting of sin. I spoke that oath out load, and told myself that only Christ, that is God, is the only one worthy of bending the knee to. I'm a logical person, but what happened after proclaiming Christ out loud can only be explained as supernatural.

@@alanbaraka9800 Thank you for asking. Before I answer that, I would like to share with you first and foremost, the Good News of salvation. What is it exactly? We have to establish the fact that we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But one could argue. Im pretty good generally speaking, I havent killed anyone. But have you ever lied? Even just white lies? Have you ever stolen? Even just a small thing? Have you ever used God's name as a cuss word? Have you ever looked at a woman lustfully? The Bible says, if a man looks at a woman lustfully, he has committed adultery in his heart. So basically if we say yes to the questions, we are liars, thieves, blasphemers, adulterers and fornicators. And that is just some of the 10 commandments we broke. Our so called righteousness is as filthy rags before God's holy eyes. God takes sin so seriously and the penalty for it is death, that is eternal separation from God in Hell. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord." So sin's penalty is death. God saw our helplessness so God Himself made a way for us. Just like a human judge sentencing his own son with the death penalty. Then afterwards, he takes off his robe, and took the lethal injection himself. God became human in the person of the Lord Jesus. He took the death penalty of our sins on the cross. He rose again on the third day to complete our salvation. He conquered death so we can be reconciled with God, and get to spend eternity with God in Heaven. God did the work for us, so we dont have to. Salvation is a gift. And just like a gift, during Christmas or our birthday, we dont have to work for it. The only thing to do is to accept the gift or reject it. If you choose to accept it, you can pray this simple sinner's prayer. The prayer itself wont save you but your faith in Jesus: Lord God, I know I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus died for me and that he rose again. I accept the Lord Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. From now on, You will be the King in my life. Take me to Heaven when it is my time to die. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen

@@alanbaraka9800 And so we get to why we believe. True faith is not blind. In Greek, faith is "pistis". It is a confidence, a trust. You dont put your trust in something unreasonable or not trustworthy. I have compiled some reasoning and facts about my faith and saved it in my file. I will copy paste it for you. The Lord's death and resurrection cannot be placed under a microscope but just like any event in history we look to eyewitness accounts, history, archeology, and plain reasoning. Let me lay out the evidential argument for the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. I. There are eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ crucifixion. A. The Roman soldiers knew how to crucify. They knew what they were doing. And they get the death penalty if they don’t do their job properly. B. There is no good reason to doubt the eyewitness accounts of the crucifixion. II. There are eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ resurrection. There is no good reason to believe that these eyewitnesses lied about what they experienced. A. They gained nothing from such ruse (no money, power, prestige) B. They were willing to die for this truth, making them very credible eyewitnesses. C. There is no good reason to believe that these eyewitnesses were all mentally insane. How could so many people in one place and in one time all of a sudden be insane when there was no evidence of a pre-existent mental illness? And even if this was the case, how credible is it that so many mentally insane people got their stories straight? III. Only three groups had access to the body of Christ: The Romans, the Jewish enemies of Christ, and the disciples of Christ. A. The Romans would not fake the resurrection. They were the ones who crucified him. B. The Jewish enemies of Christ were the ones who wanted him dead in the first place. They were even paranoid about the theft of the body and demanded that the Roman authorities secure the grave. C. Despite the paranoia of the Jewish leaders, there is no good reason to believe that the disciples of Christ would fake his resurrection. Most of them displayed incredulity to his claims of a death and resurrection. Nor would they gain anything except persecution. III. Jesus claimed to be true God A. There is no evidence or reason Jesus would lie about this. 1. Jesus did not gain anything from such a lie, except death. 2. There is no evidence that Jesus was crazy. B. Jesus proved his divinity by rising from the dead and performing miracles for which there were credible eyewitness accounts. IV. Jesus declared the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God. A. Jesus declared the Old Testament to be the Word of God. B. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to inspire the New Testament writers. V. Since Jesus is divine we ought to believe what he says about the inerrancy of the Bible. For further study you can view The Resurrection Argument That Changed a Generation of Scholars - Gary Habermas at UCSB The creeds of the death and resurrection of Jesus can be traced back to AD 30 or AD 33. A year within Jesus’ death. If that isnt historical accuracy, I don’t know what is. Archeological Evidences/ Historical Records 1. Josephus and Tacitus A. Tacitus was a Roman historian. He wasn’t a believer in the Lord Jesus. According to his accounts, Christians were named after their founder Christus. And that he was put to death by the Roman procurator Pontius Pilatus. This was during the reign of Emperor Tiberius (14-37 A.D.) His (Jesus) death ended the “ superstition” for a short time. It broke out again. It broke out in Judea, where the teaching had its origin. His followers carried his doctrine to Rome. When a great fire destroyed a large part of the city during Nero’s reign (AD 54-68) the Emperor placed the blame on Christians who lived there. Christians were tortured including being nailed to crosses and burned to death. The people had compassion on the Christians because of this. Tacitus concluded the punishments were not for public good, but were simply the glut of one man’s cruelty.(Nero’s) B. Josephus was a Jewish historian. He was not a believer in Jesus. He affirms the crucifixion. That Jesus was put to death by Pontius Pilate. He affirms Jesus’ disciples claim about the resurrection. And that Jesus was proclaimed as Messiah. Historical Manuscripts: 1. The John Rylands Fragment (P52) 2. The Dead Sea Scrolls Archeological Finds: 1.Herod the Great Herodium 2. Pontius Pilate Ring discovered at Herodium. Links Pilate and Herod (Luke 23:12) 3. Pilate Stone 4. Pilate Coin 5. The bone box of Caiphas the High Priest who conspired with the Romans to murder Jesus 6. Mosaic declaring Jesus’ claim as God. @@alanbaraka9800 The Bible is true. But if you doubt the New Testament. We can check out the Old Testament. These are just some examples of the wonders of the Word of God. In Daniel we can read the prophecy of the rise and fall of world empires. The Babylonian Empire, followed by the Medo-Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, then the Roman Empire. The Bible even specified that the Greek Empire will be split in four. And that's exactly what happened after Alexander died. So we come to the Roman Empire. It is the only empire that practices crucifixion and flogging. So with it, Jesus is prophesied in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22:16. He will be flogged and his hands and feet will be peirced. Crucifixion wasnt invented yet at the time of King David. How could he possibly have known? Daniel 9:25-26. It prophesied that the Messiah will be cut off before the destruction of the Second Temple. There was no other Messiah that was cutoff. Only Jesus. He fits the prophecy. Jesus was crucified around AD 33 and Titus destroyed the Temple around AD 70. So if Jesus isnt who He said He was, then we are doomed. There is no hope.

Sharing online is better than sharing not at all. Besides, it prepares us for the face to face witnessing opportunities when they do come. You get a tough question online..you can then do your research and answer the person the next day nice, clearly and concise. Next time when that same objection pops up in an actual face to face witnessing opportunity, you can answer that person in an instant. Online witnessing can also be seen as practice sessions for the real world out there..........But do share the gospel! Not just intellectual arguments . Even though it seems impossible to change someone's mind on social media (only the Holy Spirit can convict someone of sin. judgement and righteousness), they will always remember what you said to them online - it cant be undone. Or/And ( if all babies and toddlers go to heaven ) why didn't God prematurely kill of all who'd land themselves in a place where they shall weep and choke and burn and scream forever and ever as long as God exists? If I found myself in hell, I'd firstly question why God would create me knowing I would land myself in hell ( when non-existence would've been infinitely better ), I didn't ask God to create me either ( to exist and to have a high probability of going to a place like hell {as the road is narrow that leads to life and few find it} seems rigged } ) and then God's reason for not pre-emptively sending me off to heaven. Does it have to do with luck? Is it all rigged RNG? Were the firstborn of Egypt and the babies killed in the flood recipients of it?

The gospel of Judas! Well that's an obvious fraud, Judas killed himself before Jesus was crucified so Judas didn't even know what the Gospel was. The Gospel of salvation was established after Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, which Judas did not witness so it's impossible for there to be a 'gospel of Judas'.

@@handcam7911 The scriptures do state that Judas was the betrayer of Jesus my brother, Matthew 26:48 Mark 14:44 Luke 22:48 How much credibility would you give to the claim that Judas knew things that Jesus only told him when this man was a devil and a liar? We have the scriptures of the New Testament for a reason brother, everything we need to know pertinent to salvation is in it. No question there would be many accounts of the Gospel from the multitude of people which followed Jesus Christ throughout His ministry and witnessed His death and resurrection, but the fact is the Gospel of Salvation has one message, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour and all who seek Him with their hearts shall find Him and He will not reject any who come to Him. Blessings of peace and grace to you my brother, keep your focus on Jesus.

Hello. I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending acknowledgement of the existence of gods until sufficient evidence can be presented. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the existence of gods._* And here is the evidence as to why I currently hold to such a position. 1. I personally have never observed a god. 2. I have never encountered a person whom has claimed to have observed a god. 3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity. 4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument which also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists. 5. Of the 46 logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the existence of a god(s), I have found all to contain multiple fallacious or unsubstantiated premises. 6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon. 7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._ 8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event. 9. Every phenomenon that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity. 10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction, or do not present as falsifiable. ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the existence of a god. I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgement until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstatiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._* I welcome any cordial response. Peace.

For the Christian, our image or what people think of us shouldn't matter in the slightest. We're dead to this world. Who cares what anyone thinks. We're serving the one true living God Almighty. To be chosen by Him, loved by Him and be messengers for Him is the honor of all honors. Our God is God and our Lord is Lord. So however we deliver the gospel just deliver it faithfully, directly and as written. The power is in the word. We cast the seed out on the ground and God gives the increase. Have confidence in this as it's written, "so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
