Thank you for this very good info . Many people didn't know how important to unblocked our lymph nodes, blockage in lymph nodes can cause so many health issues in our whole body . I myself learned Chinese traditional lymphatic system massage it's a bit different from yours but the point of the lymph nodes still the same lol

I can say that you are an amazing person, I watched and followed your instructions about lymphatic drainage for the lower body part and face,neck and shoulders area. Honestly I hate doctors and I decided to treat myself by myself I had swelling in my feet due to long standing and it worked like magic. I'm doing the routines every 2 to 3 days and I'm shocked with the amount of excess fluid that was held in my body. Thank you so much you are an inspiration and I wish you all the best of luck in your life❤❤❤. May I know if I need to prevent the feet swelling before it starts and I know that in that specific day I will be standing for longer hours, shall I do the routine before ?, because currently I'm only doing it after I see the swelling and usually before I go to bed

How does this differ from the dry brushing routine from a few months ago? It looks exactly the same? Is the pressure different? Will the dry brushing be effective in a similar way? (Because doing both would mean I'd never get to do it and my skin, especially the slightly fibrotic areas, really loves the dry brushing.) Also, could this be done with a gua sha tool? Or one of the ball rollers? Given how many of us have hand/wrist/arm mobility or pain issues, using just my hand for something like this isn't an option (even if I reduced it to just the opening circles and one quadrant at a time over the day or days.) I can't exert even light pressure for that long with my hand in that position. It's the same problem I have with all the manual lymphatic drainage/self massage techniques. But I've done OK with holding the Cecily Braden brush or the gua sha tools with a handle/finger loop area. (Can't press with the thumb.) What are the best options if you can't use your hand?

Hi Kelly - I really appreciate your channel. 5.5 years out from surgery, chemotherapy and radiation on the left mandible. I do fuss with lymphedema and fibrosis. Any thoughts on the Flexitouch in addition to manual treatment regimen? Thank you!
@CancerRehabPT2 ай бұрын
@@tomsawyer6587 in my personal opinion, the flexitouch helps a select few. It doesn’t cover all areas of the face and neck that someone needs and can be pricey if insurance doesn’t pay in full. I also have a few individuals that feel like it’s very helpful, too, but it’s a small number who use it

Yes.There are also videos specifically for arm lymphodema.Make sure once your healed up,to focus on massaging the armpit the nodes were removed from as per Kelly's newer videos.Not the old videos that only massaged away from effected side and down torso.See her Alert playlist. 18 years since I had 11axilla nodes removed.

Just a minute please, are you suggesting I spend nearly 20 minutes helping myself rid my body of excess fluid? Can’t I just take a pill? Maybe my insurance will pay for home healthcare to come do it for me. 🤓 Obviously being facetious above. Kelly this along with the stretching I do and of course not drinking alcohol makes a huge difference for me. Thank you for taking the time.
@crispykmm96462 ай бұрын
Yep,no magic pill.Diuretics actually make it worse as it concentrates the fluid and slows it down.Good idea to drink less caffeine, more water.Yep a little self lymphatic massage regularly is good.,but yep time consuming. But those of us with lymphoedema must do it every day and often or face the uncomfortable effects which accumulate.
