Gina, you tell your sister real good doing for her family. My wife and I we have everything ready like bottled water to the ceiling a little can goods, blankets extra pillows clothes set and ready, flash lights and batteries. You know we never thought about the can goods will do that too. Your sister is amazing Gina and you and family do the same, I think we all need to do it.

My family has that conversation ALL THE TIME. Preparation is always appropriate. I talked with my family about coming up with a plan for several different scenarios. I started growing my own vegetables over the summer. But I've wanted to have bags packed & ready to go for my family as well. Something to do next. Kudos to your sister for being PROACTIVE.👏🏾 💪🏾

Great recipe I have been making candied sweet potatoes for 40 years but never happy but this recipe was the best I think the secret was peeling cutting in rounds and boiling for 12 minutes

Yes, I make candied yams for the holidays....We are also working on the prepping. When I started people said I was crazy too, I think more are catching on. Remember Joseph stored up enough to feed the peoples for 7 years and the wise virgins kept oil for their lamps so as to be prepared. GOD bless....

Woooow......I hate canned anything let alone 🍠yams/sweetpotatoes!!!! If you don't have time to make them fresh give this recipe a try. I couldn't stop diggin in the pan. I did extra spices nutmeg cinnamon all spice a little Ginger Did honey and pancake syrup..... Garlic butter steaks potato salad and greens. SMH sooooooo delicious Ms. Gina thank you 🙏❤💯

Yummy recipe. ☺️ We think alike I do the same when making my baked sweet potatoes. the only difference is I add lemon juice from a fresh lemon. (Just a squirt) flavor is amazing. The same way I make my sweet potato pie but w/out the crust. Lol I think your sister is smart to prep ahead. I do this with cooking,,finances etc. I think being prepared for anything is essential.
