If a theft is detected, have multiple spotlights track their movement, and have a speaker yell out "ATTENTIONEZ PICKPOCKET!!!"

Your neighbor made something similar? That's really cool! That's too bad it got destroyed. What was the weak point on it?

It should work that's what it should do. Using a pressure sensor is stupid because just because kids put pressure on it does not mean they wanted to steal it. Also as you saw the kids who stole still got massive amounts. Would be way simpler to make facial recognition dispenser
@BaosBuilds Жыл бұрын
Yeah, haha. Our original thinking was there's no reason to lift the bowl unless with the intent to steal the entire bowl. We underestimated the clumsiness of children. Facial recognition was considered for adjusting the theft weight threshold. If more people were present, more candy could be taken without detecting theft. This would especially help when there's just one person since we have to set the theft threshold relatively high to minimize false alarms. It's currently set at approximately 12 candies per 7 seconds can be taken without triggering theft. We'll definitely have to look into a vision system for next year.
