If Duran didn’t get out of the second round with Hearns ( and Floyd isn’t 1/2 the fighter Duran was in my humble opinion) I don’t see Floyd getting out of the first. He doesn’t have the stopping force to worry Tommy. You never know of course.

Just looked up the stats, Terrence Crawford is the same height as Canelo and has a longer reach!! The difference: Canelo is huge!! 30 pounds heavier! A guy who can knockout light heavyweight, was even thinking about fighting Uysk at a catch weight at some point. I wouldn’t write of Bud’s chances completely-maybe a 1 in 4 shot against Canelo; mote then likely he’ll get overwhelmed by Canelo’s power but respect to Bud for being up for it;

Canelo ate some serious punches from Berlanga and Munguia. The man has done it all. He should look out for his family and retire. I’ll miss him, but he’s got nothing left to prove. I’d hate to see him punch drunk in his 40’s.

I myself am more proud of being hit with serious punches in my life and seeing the confidence drain from the dude that hit me because I did not go down. It's more or less the experience. When you accomplish something as a man especially something as difficult as fighting someone who's your equal. There's a bit of arrogance that you earn with it I guess. A sense of showing yourself and others that you are indeed "the man".

@@mr.blackman3312 Actually my friend, boxing in the gym or body boxing in the street is not about being "The man". If that was the case, just the effort would not be enough. The rush comes from showing you "ARE a man", win or lose. My best effort in my life was from a loss. Eye was split open and poring blood. I told my corner to plug the cut before the doctor saw it. The doctor got there just as I was running to the center of the floor to continue that bare knuckle karate match in 1979. BTW, I was ahead :). How did it feel? I had been hit there several times in the match, so that side of my eye was numb. I did not know I was cut till I felt the warm liquid running down the side of my face.

It is not that people think it was a terrible performance by bud, it is that that performance no matter what it was came against a fighter who had 10 fights! And based on that, Bud fans think it shows he can beat Canelo. That is the issue and it IS an issue.
