LOL! It is too real for some people! That is the problem bro, we are talking about grown men in denial! Not kids. Men walking with swag and one challenge away from "findin out".

This makes sense. You are so correct that mentally in fighting you should have an understanding of what your opponent can do, but you must be more focused on what you will be doing, then the possibility of them attacking you. This is a great life principle as well, don’t focus on what could go wrong, focus on what you will do right!

Thank you for this video unc, alot of people don't differentiate sport from actual street fighting and violence. Philly shell, and all that dancing in boxing won't be practical. You have to learn how to deliver power punches and fight aggressive against someone in a street fight in order to end it as fast as possible. A fighter i would absolutely not want to fight in a street fight is Melvin Manhoef.

Great video, Your perspective on the distinction between boxing and street fighting is not only refreshing but fundamentally transformative. By stripping away the sport-centric mindset and focusing on primal realities like offensive dominance and target fixation, you’ve given fighters a framework that’s both practical and empowering. The way you challenge the 'victim mentality' and reorient the conversation toward offense is pure genius-it’s not just about technique, it’s about rewiring how people approach conflict itself. Your content goes beyond teaching tactics; it redefines how fighters think and react, which is invaluable. This is the kind of insight that separates a coach from a true innovator in the field

I’ve heard you say this for years and it really helped me in sparring. The head is exactly the same position, south paw or orthodox. It hardly ever matters in mma or wrestling.

Lol. That's crazy. I never thought about it till you brought it up. Circle left Circle right. I think that's why mike tyson was so squared he turn right or left. He remind me of a wrestler at times.

Want to be clear here: neither a boxer nor a street fighter should be concerned about the opponent's stance in either a boxing match or a self defense situation. Focus on offense because the target is the target in both scenarios. That's what i got from this one.

I remember you saying a while ago that if it bothers you so much to fight a southpaw then just get close. Can't remember what video, but it was a while ago

Yes, all that waiting to be hit lol. The closer you get the less it matters!

hello sir :) I have two video request/recommendations. 1. how boxing/fighting changes as you get older. is it true power is the last to go? when does cardio and reaction speed decrease. how would a 58 year old fight a 20 year old in the street or ring. also how would an average OAP ie old, weak and slow have the best chance against a teenager. 2. how to stay healthy and fix as you get older. thank you for the videos that you have made

I always thought boxing was taking punches used in street fighting but using them the correct way
@lsporter883 күн бұрын
So true. There's very little one can add to that. Just assume that you will be hit regardless and don't concern yourself with that fact. The concern is to make the other guy lose breath, mobility, sight, or especially consciousness first. I guess that sounds primitive, basic, and ugly. Well it is, it's a street fight. Superior lesson.

Thank you for this wonderful content. Now I understand why I am bothered everytime I spar a southpaw. To be honest you are right street fighter doesn't bother if they are fighting orthodox or southpaw, boxers are the only who has an issue in fighting southpaw. I hope you can create some demonstration on

That’s why pure boxers usually lose in MMA rules style fight, because MMA is as close to real fighting I.e. street fighting as you can legally get. Boxing is very restrictive, as far as the weapons you learn to use.

In a street fight against an opponent skilled in these techniques, a boxer may struggle to maintain a favorable position and defend against such attacks. it's crucial to emphasize the significance of avoiding confrontations altogether .... anyone could be in for a surprise including pro fighters...they don't know what kind of animals for fighters are out there lol

Coach, what you thought about last night fight you think is ruining the sport of boxing just for a pay day I was disappointed for Mike Tyson I thought it was rigged idk what's your thoughts?
@TheUmmahFightCamp3 күн бұрын
I was asked to comment on that fight prior and I refused. I told anyone who asked that this should not be cared about by real fight fans! Mike did NOT go out a winner no matter what he did in the Jones "fight". He is also still battling mental issues and likely always will be. Add to that him being 58, the gloves being 14oz and the ring being huge and people should be ashamed to think he would look good.

I do not think Jake Paul is ruining boxing since he is NOT making anyone watch his fights. People who are so desperate to be entertained by another man's efforts keep paying for that garbage! The only good thing is the fact that women are getting showcased.
