@mr.doctorcaptain11242 жыл бұрын
I'll say it, Bivol is not that big a threat. I went back and watched his fights after the announcement (on dazn and youtube), and I was not impressed. His 11 KOs all take place in his first 13 fights. He's since transitioned into what looks to be more point fighting over his last 6 bouts, all of them going to the judges. He is very technically sound, he has great precision and movement, and he has a solid ring IQ. But he doesn't set traps efficiently, he is predictable, and he does lose some steam in the championship rounds. I'm personally putting my money on Canelo via KO in the final rounds of the fight. I think canelo chose bivol for a reason, and I think smart boxers never start with the strongest champion when they move up. They start with the weakest and most exploitable then move up from there.

@@jimmychin9666 that's not true. Okay you can clearly see I'm a canelo fan by my first comment in this thread. But let's make two things clear. 1) All fighters take something. Micro dosed EPO is impossible to test for. Many peptides will only show up on a drug test if you get tested within minutes of taking it. If usada waits even a half hour, you won't pop positive for it (and you can delay tests for hours when they show up, by just going into the bathroom to take a crap for an hour or two). Every professional athlete is on something. 2) Canelo claimed tainted pork made him pop positive. He would have had to have eaten 50lbs of tainted pork the same day as his drug test in order to pop positive for the amount of clenbuterol they found in his system.

KOVALEV was way past his prime when he fought CANELO. Those patty-pat jabs the Russian was throwing would not squash a grape. BIVOL is in his prime, fighting at his natural weight, and his style, boxing, and jabbing, in and out, is uncomfortable for his opponent. He fought arguably the hardest-hitting puncher of his division, Joe Smith Jr., and gave him a high- IQ boxing lesson...
@kubobetterrelax74352 жыл бұрын
idk if he hits harder than Beterbiev but he might be better for sure
@raulcitraro2 жыл бұрын
@@kubobetterrelax7435 Technically better. BETERBIEV does not have any head movement whatsoever. He gets hit too much. Check his last three fights.
@kubobetterrelax74352 жыл бұрын

@@kubobetterrelax7435 Agree! The best option for CANELO now would be to go down to the 168 -lb division or challenge the Cruiserweight champion. I think he has a better chance there than fighting BIVOL again.
