At 4:27 you can see the cross almost shoves his gloves out of the way. Looks like the pause was Canelo waiting for the glove to move before he landed a direct hit. Incredible reflexes.

I enjoyed this breakdown. I love this channel, Gab is very knowledgeable even with boxing. Im an amateur boxer myself, and i enjoy this channel, the concepts talked about, and how much this man as a kickboxer/muay thai/mma fighter knows boxing as well. I can see the love for martial arts/ fighting sports this man has, and especially the experiance Gab has too. I learn stiff from this man on many occasions watching this guys channel. Good stuff here.

Awesome, I wanted to see your reaction. When Canelo landed that knock down with a hook-upper cut, it look to me that Canelo pull Munguia's arm with the hook to make an opening for the upper cut. Do you think Canelo pull Mungia's arm or it was just a normal hook and Munguia neglected his defense leaving an opening to the upper cut?

Eitherway, weather he pulled the mans arm to land the shot or not , it was still worth giving the creadit for. I didnt notice it , ill have to watch it again. But i also box and i do pull the arm out the way at times too.its leagal. As long as its not like a hold and hit. I 1st seen loma do it and i started doing it and finding success as an amateur . The crazy thing is when i do that to opponents they look at me as if i cheated, and the coach or ref dont say nothing to me because its leagal. When i spar ill do that sometimes and still my coach dont tell me not to do it actually he likes the idea.

Bivol is an excellent fighter who knows what to do to stay out of trouble. The weight class difference didn't trouble Canelo which is a positive for him. Canelo would do tremendous in that weight division and in many others, but Canelo is chasing greatness he wanted prove just how good he is. Bivol is just that damn goid though. Can't knock both of them tor being who they are.

Munguia should have taken a page out of Bivol's book for this fight. Hooks will not win you a fight against Canelo. Munguia is bigger and rangier than Canelo, so the keys to victory are maintaining perfect range and literally throwing nothing but jabs and straights, mixing it up head to body. Munguia just doesn't have the toolset.
