While the Canik TP-9 is not a licensed copy, it shares many features and looks with the P-99 and it’s updated counterpart the PPQ. In fact there are a couple KZbin channels out there that have even swapped Canik parts with Walther parts (and vice versa) and they have run just fine. Canik definitely makes their guns differently than Walther, enough so that I will agree that they are in fact different guns, but that doesn’t mean that they are nothing alike.
