I found a great deal on carrots a while back and pickled them, next time just canning them like this. You know I love a good produce sale lol.

Awesome! I keep stumbling on sales. Last week, I was in Sams on my way to office to pick up dad's meds. I Always walk through the meats - generally to see what prices are. Lo and behold, there was an in-store mgr special on the 2 pack whole fryer chickens. $5!!!! limit 2 packages (4 birds) . Guess who brought 4 chickens to the office...LOL Video coming up...LOL

@@twobearshomestead STOOOOP!!!!!!!! That is a steal!! Around here each chicken is about 7 bucks or so each for a medium fryer. I keep lurking around the store ads waiting for a chicken deal like a vulture LOL. Clearly I need to go to Sam's or Costco.
