Thanks for taking us on another ramble. I'm watching this still a little sun-fried and stinky from a walkabout in the mountains. No hammocking (over 3,000 feet elevation and over 500 feet above any hammock-bearing trees). Lots of snow on the ground and ice in the water still, but the temperature has leaped into the high 70's and I got cooked. I had to laugh; it looked as if the lady thought you were planning to spit-roast her pooch. Perhaps if you had been wearing the office slickster shirt she might have given you a smile. I have often fallen asleep listening to the other-worldly calls of loons, and there is nothing quite it.

Great vid shug! Awesome to see you give it a try! Paddling is similar but also very different from hiking (I have to about 80+ bwca/Querico trips under my belt now). I hope you brought an extra pair of shoes (dry) for camp. Chota's are great boots (H2O proof) for portage's. A bit surprised your friend would bring a kayak on a 280 rod portage. Were your friends veteran paddlers? Lastly, if you go on another trip you need to try my ZRE carbon fiber paddle. Weighs about 11oz. Makes a huge difference. Just like wearing a light weight pack as opposed to a weighed down 50pound pack on a hike. Having a UL paddle is much more enjoyable, less fatigue, etc. Great job buddy!

Shug! Love your videos and your music. I tried to find the song at the beginning of this video on your SoundCloud page but can't seem to find it. What's the name of it? Or do you have a link to it? Thank you!!!
