Awesome! Setting so it automatically takes all three when I push shutter. I seem to have to push shutter 3 times? Help??

Hi Nick! Great question! I left this part out in the video. Select you Q button and change from single shooting to high speed continuous in the drive mode. You will still hold the shutter down, but just once and it will fire off the number of photos you selected to bracket.

@@pablodiazphotography awesome! I somehow enabled it to do that. My 5D4 does it but I set it up so long ago, I couldn’t remember how. I set C1 for A mode, iso 100, f/8. Then I set C2 for moon (Lenny 11) M, f/11, ISO 500, 1/500 sec. This for getting back so quickly!

I like to use/set C 1- 2- 3 for various tasks... I think of it as PAL >>> Portrait, Action, Landscape. So that would make # 3 set to Bracket Landscape. Every time I want to bracket shots its all set up to do so, no need to go to menus and fiddle with settings. For all other types of Landscape work I just shoot in M, and make appropriate settings ex: long exposure, focus stack etc. . You get the idea. The only thing I would not set up is to cancel bracket after shut down, as I always want it to be constant when I go to C 3 in my setup

Hi. Nice tutorial. But nobody seems to explain how to choose if it is the aperture to change or the shutter speed. I have the R6mk2, and it is the aperture that is changing, Why is that? I can not find anything on this matter in the manual. Do you know?

Hi Morten, sorry for the delayed response! I normally shoot in manual mode (M) on my dial and by default this will change my shutter speed only for the exposure when shooting in AEB. If you shoot in shutter priority (Tv) then your aperture will change and if you shoot in aperture priority (Av) then your shutter speed will change. Also note that in any of these shooting modes, if you change your ISO to auto, the exposure compensation will be reflected with the ISO changing not shutter speed or aperture.

I noticed that exact thing with my R6 Mark 2. Every other canon camera I've had adjusted the shutter speed during bracketed shots but with this camera it's the aperture for some reason. I too have read through the manual and looked through every setting in the camera and can't find a way to change it. Seems the only work around would be putting it in aperture priority to do AEB. Have you found something different?

Hi there I feel you seem to jump into post processing and yet have missed some steps in setting up for AEB? You missed the settings for the shutter in terms of continuous or single and also have not discussed turning off the feature once you have done your shoot Thanks

So auto bracketing cancel now applies only on shut down ? This doesn't make a lot of sense to me - the 5dmkiii allowed cancelling after each set of brackets - I can't see an option for this is it deep in the custom functions ?

You can definitely make that change for FOCUS bracketing but I don't see it for exposure bracketing. You can find Bracketing Auto Cancel in the orange menu, 4th line down.

@@pablodiazphotography thanks. Yes I have it set to "on", but it obviously only applies upon turning the unit off - which is quite an oversight for me. I like to quickly get 7 natural light exposures, and then get my flash exposures. Anyway I'll just reverse the process - flash exposures first, then bracket, then switch off and onto the next scene.
